Summary: Excellent book, a touching story of friendship and betrayal
Review: I remember reading Judy Blume books as a kid (and enjoying them) so I had no hesitations about picking this one up at a friend's recommendation. The story elicited many emotions in me - I laughed, and even got a little teary in some parts. (I know, it sounds cliche..) It's a good story for anyone who's ever had a love-hate relationship with someone they grew up with.

Summary: For those who read Judy Blume years ago....
Review: This book was a dream come true for a girl who read all the Judy Blume books for younger girls. This story follows two girls from 6th grade on through their lives. I was hooked and read the whole book in just a few days. When I got near the end of the book, I kept hoping more would come. I never wanted this book to end.

Review: Another fun read from Judy Blume. A wonderful story about friendship, love and loss. A perfect book to read on the beach, on a rainy sunday or when you are stuck on the bus.

It will take you to the times in your life that you want to relive, to the places where friendship is life, and summer is eternal. This fast reading book gives you advice, makes you cry and of course makes you smile. I finished it in two days, and it proved to me that free reading books are more than the Shakespeare plays I never understood in high school. Reading was always a chore, however, Judy Bloom makes it an exciting adventure. Every young women's dreams, aspirations and confusions are held in the hands of the " summer sisters."ΓΏ

Summary: This book is EXCELLENT!
Review: Judy Blume is my favorite author, and once again, she has not let me down. This is by FAR my favorite book. I got lost in it over the summer and read it in 3 days. She captures the characters' emotions and the scenery so beautifully that I was disappointed when I reached the end because I wanted there to be more. If you haven't already, trust me when I tell you to READ THIS BOOK!

Summary: Delivered Only Half the Goods
Review: I admit, I knew this book wasn't going to be anything more than dramatic, trashy good fun. But it surprised me twice, by beginning with intelligence and faltering several times. There were quite a few incidents of bubble-headed soap opera antics, but there also seemed to be an unfair portrait painted of the 'stronger' woman, Caitlin. Not every rich girl turns into a flake. I'm not the writer, so I won't worry about it. Just the next predictable novel with a poor little rich girl ought to have her not deflate. Having read Judy Blume most of my life, I thought she could do better. It wasn't as messy as it could have been, and not as touching as it should have been.

Summary: The Newest American Classic
Review: Judy Blume outdid herself with this novel. It really tells the real story of two girls growing up. The only thing that disappointed me was the use of profanity.
