Summary: This book was great!
Review: I really loved this book. The characters were so real and so appealing that it's only natural to stay up half the night not wanting to put the book away. Judy Blume has done it again. In this novel, the reader is introduced to two girls, Caitlan and Victoria. Caitlan is loaded with money and Victoria is not. Their story begins when Caitlan invites Victoria to spend the summer with her at her island house. From there , we are introduced to a slew of characters from Caitlan's laid- back father to the gorgeous guys of the island. The unlikely pair become best friends , summer sisters for life or longer. And we have the pleasure of sharing their summer secrets and adventures.

Summary: Blume Blooms
Review: Reading Summer Sisters brought me back to the days of "Are You There God, It's Me Margaret" and "Deenie" when I was 15 and couldn't put a Blume book down. I was worried that her ability to relate with young women wouldn't translate as well for adults, but I was wrong! I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I am now 29, but the excitement I used to feel as a teen when I got a new Judy Blume book in my hands came back!

Summary: Blume on my Nightstand ALL OVER AGAIN
Review: As I type this I wonder how I managed to pull away from my book. Summer Sisters has brought back that silly giggle I used to make when reading Judy's books back in elementary school. Once a Blume fan -- ALWAYS a Blume fan. For those who haven't read her work...it's never too late. Judy is the girlfriend you had who didn't ask you "what do you mean" after you spilled your guts out over a vision. Summer Sisters is a log of all those visions and that friend.

Summary: This is the book to be shared among best friends.
Review: This is an enthralling story of real life and the tragedies and happiness shared among the best of friends. It shows how much a person can take and give in a friendship without realizing it.This is a book that you can't put down. I read it in two days. I can't wait to give it to my best friend.

Summary: A striking, real, heartfelt page turner
Review: I am 15 years old- I was at first anxious that Judy Blume would not recommend this book to people of my age, but I was ecstatic to discover she had "approved it" for high school students as well as adults. I am so delighted I got the chance to read it (starting the day it came out!) because it was simply fabulous. It took me on a journey away from my studies (believe me, there are plenty of them!) into a world of trust broken, confusion, friendship, and love. I sincerely loved this book, as I do all of Blume's books and I hope you will rush out to buy a copy too! It will definitely be worth it, I promise.

Summary: This book is chance to relive the summers of your youth.
Review: If you ever had a special friend that you spent your summers with, doing all sorts of secret, wonderful stuff...then this book is a must-read for you. And if you didn't have a special summer friend, then this book is still a must-read, so that you can see what you missed. This book will bring back all of your own special summer memories, even some of the ones you wanted to forget! Long before you finish the book you will be on the phone calling your own SUMMER SISTER.

Summary: This novel makes the reader nostalgic
Review: Judy Blume's Summer Sisters is like a visit with a friend you haven't seen since high school. It is written with an adult reader as its audience but teen readers will enjoy it as well. Ms Blume continues to deliver excellence!

Summary: Sorry I read it!
Review: I read all of Judy Blume's books when I was young and was VERY disappointed with this Danielle Steel copycat novel. Ms. Blume's young adult novels are touching and beautiful. It's too bad that Ms. Blume cannot bring the same quality writing to her adult novels.
