Summary: It was pretty cool
Review: I really liked it a lot, but it could be better. As tough as Kaitlin grew up I think she could've handled herself better. She always had Rob or Gabriel to save her, or Kait was like,"Protect me, I'm a helpless female. I need a man to handle things!"I thought it was pathetic! But for the most part I though the writing was good and L.J Smith wrote another great triolagy.Another thing was I'd get w-Gabriel in a second. Rob is annoying and Gaberiel is better for Kaitlin, he brings out her tougher side a lot. I liked when she fineally chose Gabriel at the end. I thought the storyline was interesting and it held my attention and it had all the elements of a well put-together thriller/suspense.

Summary: This book is great
Review: I really love all of L. J. Smiths books. I started reading them when I was younger and I still get cravings to read them over again today. I really recommend trying this series, or any of L. J.'s books for that matter. This book is about Kaitlyn a girl with psychic powers who goes to a center to learn more about her powers. There she meets 4 other people just like her, who have powers and are labeled as different. But something at the center is not right, Kaitlyn and the others must discover whats going on, and kaitlyn must also learn more about herself because she finds herself deeply attracted to both Rob, and Gabriel.

---If you like these books I also recommend, the alanna series by Tamora Pierce, the darkangel trilogy by Meredith Ann Pierce, and the arrows of the queen trilogy by mercedes lackey. They are all good authors!!! and you might even find more books you like.

Summary: I LOVE these books!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I'm a Senior in High School and I still think LJ Smith's books are wonderful. The only problem I have with them is they are too short! I want MORE! For all of you who thought the plot was boring all I can say is it's a whole lot more interesting than most of those so called "Adult" Books out there. Oh, yeah, and Gabrel's REALY HOT!!!!! But let's not go into that or I'll go over the word limet. :)

Summary: The Dark Visions Trilogy are the best books by L.J. Smith!!
Review: I've read all of L.J. Smith's books (except for the out of print Secret Circle Trilogy) and Dark Visions has always been and continues to be my favorite. You fall in love with the characters as the books progress (especially Gabriel) and they become and addiction. You can't put them down! L.J. Smith is a fantastic writer, and very good with character development. The reader is able to see everything from the point of view of all of the characters, and they begin to seem like real people. By the time you're done with Volume III, "The Passion," you'll wish they really were real! (Especially Gabriel!) Read this trilogy; after that you'll become an L.J. Smith fanatic, searching for all of her books. But it really is worth it. :) -LEX

Summary: Good start
Review: Kaitlyn Fairchild has always been unnerved by her uncontrollable ability to draw pictures of the future. So she's thrilled when she gets into a special school for psychics. For the first time in her life, Kait is surrounded with people she feels she belongs with and she's especially interested in kindhearted Rob. But she begins to suspect that the owner of the school has an ulterior motive, one that could get Kait and her new friends killed.

The Strange Power is an intriguing but a bit slow start to the Dark Visions Trillogy. I probably should be continuing L. J. Smith's The Vampire Diaries series but I decided to take a break from that. This series was a nice chance of pace. I really enjoyed the characters and am curious to see what happens next. I have no clue why The Vampire Diaries seems to be the favorite of many L. J. Smith fans. This series and all her others are much better.

Summary: Strange Power...
Review: Kaitlyn Fairchild has the ability to see things before they happen--through her art that is. She is chosen to go to the Zetes Institute to learn how to control her psychic ability, and, while there, meets four other psychics. Rob, Gabriel, Anna, Luis, and Kait begin to suspect that something is amiss at the institute...and it doesn't help that a mistake made them all psychically linked and are able to hear each others thoughts.
I personally thought this book was terrific. Suspensful, mysterious, romantic...Dark Visions has the package.
