Summary: Okay
Review: Ellen thinks that her life is perfect. She has a sexy boyfriend (Jack), two great best friends (Melisha and Julian), and she's passing English. But Ellen's life is turned upside down when she finds out that Jack is cheating on her with Melisha, her ex-best friend (Julian) is dating her vicious younger sister (Eve), and her mom is having an affair. Soon with the help of her new found friend (Meg, a Goth), she goes on a revenge trip to make her feel better and hurt all the people whom hurt her.

I thought that this was an okay 1st novel. I did feel that it was lacking, and sometimes slow moving at times. I recommend this to any girl in high school.

Summary: Not so good
Review: I have really enjoyed all the of the PUSH line so far. However, I thought this book was seriously lacking. It was mildly entertaining, but I just couldn't get over how badly it was written. Girls in junior high/high school could probably write something better themselves. At first, I thought it was just a matter of an odd style choice on the part of the author, but in the end I felt it was disjointed and amatuerish. The point of view was sloppy; it was distracting and kept me at a constant distance from the characters (all of them). Also, I felt like the humor was forced and usually failed. I can't recommend it when there are so many other well written books out there.

Summary: "I Will Survive" By Kristen Kemp
Review: Kristen Kemp really knows how to keep people entertained in her books, especially teenagers. "I Will Survive" explains the hard times of being a teenage girl going through boyfriends, friends and family. Ellen has the best boyfriend, so she thinks. He is perfect in every way, except that he is cheating on her with Melisha, Ellen's best friend. Her little sister Eve, the "beauty/drama queen," is ruining her life going out with her second best friend Julian. Instead of being depressed her whole life she decides the best thing is to get even with revenge! I think that any teenager going through high school with any sort of problems should read this book.

Summary: Immature and Overdone
Review: Looky everyone! It's another book about teen sex! Wow! There's a clever idea!

Well, of the PUSH series, this is the only one that had me genuinely interested throughout, but like Cut, Pure Sunshine and Kerosene, it is not inspirational enough to help anyone in a bad relationship. It's about a girl befriended by a Coma (goth, to you and me) who gets vengeance on a cheatin' boyfriend and a jerk of a best friend. It's a power-trip nothingness not really worth your time. Check out Gossip Girl if books about relationships gone bad are your interest.

Summary: So True!!
Review: Once I read a book that captured exactly what high school is about. The book is called "I Will Survive." This is the best book I have ever read! This book had a hold on me. I couldn't put it down. I would read one chapter and have to read another becuase I couldn't stand the suspense! This book deserves 5 stars, if not more!
The book delt with a teenager being betrayed by the people closest to her.... But I'm not going to spoil the ending. So if you thought the book sounds good in review you have to read it! It's not one of those boring books you have to drag youself to read it. You want to read it. It's not only suspense it's a thriller just to read. You will imagine youself as if you were her, dealing with the pain and the sweet revenge.

Summary: Survive-Kristen Kemp
Review: This book had major potential, but was lacking some nessecary qualities! It was sloppily written, and the point of view was really obscure. One minute it would be all about Ellen, and the next it would switch to another character with no warning! I did think it was mildly entertaining, but I finished it in a couple of hours. I was disappointed by this, I think it could have gone a lot further! If you enjoy teenage angst novels (such as this) with a little more depth, then Life is Funny, Speak or Sloppy Firsts (and its companion Second Helpings) are books that I would suggest instead of this.

Summary: Great book!
Review: This book was really good! I related to it because it takes place in a small town in Indiana. Have you ever felt the wrath of betrayal? If so then this book is for you!

It starts out simple enough. The book is about Ellen. Girl with a great boyfriend (so she thinks), great best friend ( so she thinks), a good best guy friend, cool parents, but also has a beauty queen for a younger sister. Then it comes tumbling down.

Ellen finds out that her boyfriend is cheating on her with her BEST friend! Then she looses her best guy friend, Julian when he tries to tell his feelings for her and she goes off. Then... she gets GROUNDED when her parents READ her journal and find out she had planned to have sex with Jack. (the not-so-great boyfriend).
Then she picks up the phone to find a secret about her mother revealed.

Then she decides she doesnt care and goes into a depression.. But that's just the beginning. WHen she meets Meg.. the story turns around. Now she's out to get what she deserves- REVENGE!!

This is a good exciting book to read! Give it a try!

Summary: Gets Your Spirits Going
Review: Well, Ellen has it pretty bad. Her wonderful boyfriend(at least thats the impression Ellen gets) is caught cheating on her with her Best Friend(ain't that just dandy?) and she finds out her mother is having an affair, plus, her other best friend, Julian, is in love with her and she is definetly not hot for him. Another thing, Ellen has a beauty queen sister who absolutely make her miserable. But when Ellen meets Meg, she realizes she doesn't want to play the part of the Damsel In Distress, she descides on revenge. It was fairly written but it is one of the best teen age drama queen books.
