Summary: I've read it a million times!
Review: Like all of Elizabeth Chandler's Dark Secrets books, this is an amazing read. Lauren is returning to her godmother's house after seven years - She hasn't been back since she was ten years old, when her mother mysteriously drowned in the lake. Aunt Jule treats Lauren like her own daughter, which makes her actual daughter, Holly, jealous and resentful. Jule's other daughter, Nora, is creepy and seems mentally unwell. She watches Lauren constantly, and tells her freaky things that make no sense - things that have to do with Lauren's dead mother. Upon her return, Lauren meets Nick, who is funny, sweet, and although she doesn't recognize him at first (he's no longer a cherub), he was once her childhood friend. The attraction between them is instant and strong. Until Nick suddenly starts dating Holly, and treats Lauren with a bitter coldness that forces the reader to be torn between loving Nick and hating him! After the suspense is over, the mystery solved, there's a happy ending that should satisfy everybody!!! I strongly recommend all of the Dark Secrets books! And for any hopeless romantics, check out the Love Stories series - specifically the books that Elizabeth Chandler wrote. Definitely read Don't Tell. You won't regret it! It's an awesome book.

Summary: Dark Secrets:Don't Tell
Review: Oh My goodness! This book IS every star it earned! Not only does it have romance, but it has suspence, and keeps you wondering. I read it during the end of the school year, and every day I couldn't wait to get home just to read it. It was SO good. The ending, well...Let me just say that if you are like me and read the ending before the rest of the book usually...DON'T! It will ruin the whole thing! And I actullay didn't read the end first on this book...And o am I happy about that decision!

Summary: Seven Years Later...
Review: Seven years after her mother was killed, Megan returns to her aunt's house. She's all grown up, and a lot of things at her aunt' house has changed. Take, for instance, Nora, her cousin. Nora seems a little strange around Lauren. Lauren is freaked out by Nora's behavior, but tries to get Nora to be more comfortable around her.
And then there is Nick. The guy who used to be her best bud back when she was a kid. The guy who she is now strongly attracted to. But what is wierd about Nick is his ever changing moods around her. First he acted like he wanted to be more than friends, and next he is avoiding he like the plague, and when he is near her, he seems hostile.
And of course there is the wierd stuff happening around Lauren. Like the knots bieng made with the chain of her necklace, her bedsheets, clothes, and lamp cord. And then there was the wierd note in her car right before she got in an accident. Lauren KNOWS that someone is trying to kill her, but the question is who? Lauren suspects that it is Nora, but Nora seems frightened about something. But what is she frightened OF? And what is there a connection with what happened to her mother before she died, and what is happening to Lauren now?

I liked this book. I was actually surprised at who she found out attempted to kill her at the end. THAT was something that blew your mind.

Summary: What Really Happened That Night?
Review: Seven years ago, Lauren's mother was mysteriously killed in Wisteria. Now, Aunt Jule has asked Lauren to return to Wisteria for a visit. While in town, Lauren meets her old friend, Nick, who at first flirts with her and even ends up kissing her the night of the prom, he becomes cold and hostile to her because he thinks she pulled his cartoon from the paper. Holly, who would be cold to Lauren when they were kids because of her mother's sickening admiration, seems to have warmed up to Lauren and be more friendly to her. Nora, who was always very timid, has become out of touch with reality, thinks that Sondra, Lauren's dead mother, has come back to haunt her. Lauren's stay at Wisteria becomes more baffling and more suspenceful as the book goes on. A disaterous prom night, warnings, things moving by themselves, and people acting a little off around her, Lauren thinks she's losing her mind until she's locked in the boathouse with Nora by someone she truly trusted. Will Lauren be able to survive her stay at Wisteria or will the murderer succeed once again?

Summary: Old secrets never die.
Review: Seventeen-year-old Lauren Brandt, daughter of a prominent Maryland senator, has returned to the small town where she was born - and where, ten years ago, her disturbed mother drowned under mysterious circumstances. But Wisteria is not the same as it was during Lauren's childhood. Aunt Jule, Lauren's godmother, refuses to get help for her increasingly mentally unstable daughter Nora, and she leaves all responsibilities for paying the bills to her other daughter, Holly. Nora seems convinced that the ghost of Lauren's mother haunts the house and its grounds - and a series of unexplainable events soon makes Lauren wonder if Nora, however disturbed she is, may be right. And soon, Lauren begins to believe that her mother's death was anything but an accident - and that she herself may be next to die. This was a suspenseful mystery full of unexpected twists and turns.

Summary: The first out of the series I read
Review: This was the first book in the series of Dark Secrets that i read. It made me become a loyal Elizabeth Chandler reader for life! It's the 2nd in the series (thank goodness the books don't relate to each other-- other then the fact they all have Tea Leaves, a cafe, and take place in Westeria). Probably my favorite, next to the third book, because I wasn't aware of her writing style yet or anything. Chandler creats a mess of nots in this story, and unties them all in the last 15 pages of the book. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes a good mystery/romance!
