Rating: Summary: Totaly Awesome!!!!!!!!! Review: This book rocks! It totaly keeps you in suspense. Like, is A.J. going to snap out of it? Is Carole going to get even MORE rapped up in Samson? Is it posible for that to happen? Will Lisa and Carole make up? Will Lisa tell Alex her secret? Will Callie ever walk normaly again? It's an awesome book!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Boring Review: This book was almsot exactly like the last one. It was just an extension of all the problems in the last book. Only one problem, AJ, was somewhat resolved. But Bryant, even when she has enough unresolved sub-plots and plots to make plot soup, she creates even more plots. I think she's afraid of letting ill befall on her characters, and that's why nothing ever happens to them! Well I say enough is enough! I'm tired of hearing these characters think "but on the other hand," or, "still,". These books are going nowhere fast. Bryant needs to rethink her plot line soon, and resolve a lot of these plots, or else she will be left with a bunch of tired plots, overacting characters, and no readers.
Rating: Summary: I love pine hollow! Review: This Pine Hollow book is one of the best. I havn't read any further than this because I can't find any more, but I'm going to order them soon. The AJ thing was getting so frusterating, I was glad to find out the truth. I found it a bit surprising when Veronica draged the truth out of him, and as for the way she hangs on to scott - GAG! I know some people feel the same way about Alex and Lisa, but I know people like that in real life so... Carole's obsession with Samson is screaming trouble, she's forgotten all about Starlight. I think Ben should say something too her about it. and as for stevie's brothers giving her a hard time about teasing Michal, he deserves it!
Rating: Summary: This book was cool,but... Review: This was a good book.I like it.Except A.J's reaction is a little unrealistic. They must have adopted him when he was really young. At least young enough to not remember a thing about his real parents. Also, why did he need to see his sister's birth certificate. She's like 5,he's 16.Wouldn't he remember when she was born?Oh well.I think his parents should have told him when he was younger. He probably would have found out someday anyway.Wouldn't he have.I think the pull-it-out-of-A.J.-confrontation was a little rough.First if all, there were to many people there, they should only his closest friends. Not every person he knew within a hundred miles. And why was A.J. so suprised when everybody thought he was on dope. The stupid way he was acting, anyone could have thought that.I think they should've had so many people,I also think that they kind of pried it out of him. They can be curious about his problem, but at the same time, they need to respect his privacy. They were so pushy with him, they almost made the poor guy shed tears. For a 16 year old guy, that's really embarassing in front of all friends.Oh well.I'm the kind of person who picks over EVERY bad thing in a book.Even when the book is good. There always seems to be something bad to point out. This book isn't as bad as I make it sound. It's actually a really good book.I would recommend reading. It's money well spent.Bonnie Bryant is a wonderful author.Read all her books.P.S. How could they not think he could be a druggie. In future books he becomes a drunk anyway. That doesn't exactly comfort everyone's suspicions for this.A.J. has a problem. He can't even learn anything from one mistake.Books 7 and 9 seem to display his character pretty bad.Starting a beer bash to bringing Vodka to dinner to fake ID's to drinking in a college bar,A.J. seems to have done it all.He needs help. He's a pretty weak creature.Short, skinny, and a wimp to peer pressure.Hmmm.He could use a gym and a revival.
