Review: I'm a eighth grader who loves history, and it was great to find a book that actually was interesting! Ann Rinaldi is one of my favorite authors! I had read several of her books without reilizing she had written them, and had liked them. So after I read 'Time Enough for Drums' and I found out she wrote those too, She became number one on my 'Quick, find this author' list of reccomendation! Great book, great author!

Review: This book has to be one of Ann Rinaldi's best. She weaves romance, history, and emotions of a teen living it all. You won't want to put it down and will catch yourself staying up late to finish it. This is the kind of book that you want to finsih quickly, but once you do, you are sad it is over!

Review: I loved this book it was probably the third book of Rinaldi's I read. I can really connect to Jem. I feel like I have the same wild spirit as she does. I like how she shows the feelings of the characters and makes them real. When Jem felt sad so did I. Which shows a great talent in writting. I really want to thank my seventh grade teacher for telling me to read Wolf by the Ears. She turned me onto Rinaldi and changed my life. Rinaldi made me want to read and this book just made the firer brighter. I think my librarian should just give me this book because I check it out atleast 5 times a year just to read it for fun and I'm 16! I'm am very happy that this wonderful book is back and print and I hope that one day my children will read this book along with the other Rinaldi books I have and fall in love with her writting just like I have. Her books to me will always be timeless.

Summary: Breathtaking!
Review: Ann Rinaldi has done it again. This book is the most exciting I've ever read and I'm sure it will be the same for you also. It deals with a young spirited girl trying to deal with her feelings during the course of the Revolutionary War. Jem has to deal with her family which is partly broken up and her tutor who is trying his hardest to make her a real lady.It's not easy for her when brothers go off to war and other things tromitize her life. But most off all her biggest challenge is with her tutor. She will discover her feelings for him and must deal with them, in her most difficult times. I couldn't put it down, you'll read it again and again!

Review: I have always been a huge fan of Ann Rinaldi and in this book she did not disappoint me. I just finished reading it, and it was a real page-turner! The book shows insight into the life of a girl who must go through adolescense during a war. I felt like I was really with the characters in this book. If you're a fan of Rinaldi,this book won't let you down. If you've never read Rinaldi's books before, this is a great one to start with! Enjoy!

Review: A wonderful book about growing up and discovering who you are!This book shows Jem growing from a young girl to a mature women. Itshows how ones love for their family can help them to endure anything that comes their way! As I read this book , I found myself not wanting to put it down! As you read you'll find yourself being swept up in Jem's life and her family . Not only does this book give you a lesson in history , but a lesson of growing up. This book will have you reading with excitment as to what happens in the next chapter!

Review: When I first saw this book, it was on the shelf of the school library. I read the back, thought it was interesting and checked it out. Instantly I became immersed in the novel. I read it on the school bus back home, and instead of doing homework, read the 200+ book until 7 or 8. Immediately after I read it I knew it was one of my favorite books I've ever read. Now, I read a LOT of books but I never really had any favorites. But this is surely one. It's about a spunky, headstrong girl named Jemima Emerson during the American Revolution. She is a Patriot, and her tutor, John Reid, is on the side of the King. She absolutely detests him. However, after a bit more time spent with him, and her discovery of his secret, she falls in love with him. This is truly a great book and got me interested in the American Revolution. Thank you, Ann Rinaldi!
