Summary: I'm glad it was only a dollar
Review: Well, Jessy and Lizzie are growing up. I think it's ridiculous how Jess fell like a rock for Will so very quickly without realizing he was hooked up. And Melissa, she's awesome if a bit neurotic. I love how the social "food chain" is changing, with Jess no longer on top. The femme fatale man-eater cheerleader thing is finally over. The characters weren't as well developed in this book as they are in the later SVH Seniors, but I suppose this is the getting to know eveyone period. Liz is so dumb for liking Connor and I think that if you are reading Seniors and SVU at the same time, Liz's obsession with sarcastic jerks is getting really old. Overall, a decent book, but the later books in this series get better.

Summary: Fantastic!
Review: I've never been big into SV books, but my mom got me this one becaue she thought it looked good. I read the first 20 pages and couldn't stop--I stayed up until 6 am to finish it. I definitely won't be able to stay away from the rest of the series!!!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great, but they completely forgot the old SVH!!
Review: I thought that this book was pretty good but I'm really confused about some things. For one, what happened to Winston, Maria Santelli and other people from the old SVH series (i.e. the Droids, etc.) I have read all 7 of these books, and they are not mentioned AT ALL. And Winston and Maria were BFFs with the rest of the SVHers!! So it does not make sense. And Todd and Ken do not see each other at all. If his best friend was hurting so much, he should help him!! Which brings me to my next point--everyone (!!!) forgot Olivia! She is not mentioned at all, except for in the beginning of the book when Liz is writing her New Year's Resolutions. It's ridiculous that such popular characters are lost, and that a best friend, WHO DIED, is not thought of.

Summary: It was pretty good.
Review: The storyline was ok but I wish Jessica would stand up for herself. And I hate Will. And Melissa. But overall, Can't Stay Away is a pretty decent book. I recommend it to all Sweet Valley fans.

Summary: AWESOME
Review: I didn't like Sweet Valley Twins...the "earlier Jessica and Elizabeth" but I like the books now that they've grown up. Lizzie knows she likes Conner...Conner knows he likes Lizzie..GO FOR IT!!

Summary: HOOKED ME UP!!
Review: THIS NEW SERIES IS TOTALLY COOL! I'M SO GLAD LIZ FINALLY STARTS ENJOYING LIFE MORE! AND I TOTALLY BELIEVE CONNER AND HER SHOULD BE TOGETHER. I JUST DON'T LIKE HOW THE AUTHOR IS MAKING JESSICA'S LIFE MISERABLE, AND SHE DOESN'T SEEM LIKE HERSELF, SHE HAS NO GUTS TO CONFRONT MELISSA (?????) THAT'S NOT THE OLD JESS I USED TO KNOW! BUT ANYWAY, I THINK THIS IS A COOL SERIES AND I'M GLAD THERE IS NO MORE "EVEN THOUGH THEY LOOKED IDENTICAL ON THE OUTSIDE, ON THE INSIDE THEY WERE...". BUT I HATE THAT YOU HAVE TO READ ABOUT 5 BOOKS TO FIND OUT IF CONNER AND LIZ ARE GOING TO BE TOGETHER OR NOT.

Summary: I really got hucked in the book!
Review: This book sooo good! I kept on reading til the last word and needed to read more. Luckily there's a second book or i would have been so mad!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Intriguing!
Review: All in all, decent. The diary entries are cute. I laughed at Lila's ridiculous article on fashion & the way she criticized the "unhip." But why is the author eager to hook Liz up with another guy so quickly that poor Liz is barely catching her breath from her relationship with Todd. I think Connor is a bit of a heel, always making sarcastic comments & automatically assuming that the Wakefield twins would be "dumb bimbos" just because they were blond, pretty & thin. It was kind of funny the way cynical Conner expected to hate SVH. One thing I'd like to see...the Wakefields rent their own house while they're waiting for their house to be re-built after the earthquake. I can see that they don't enjoy having to camp out at the Fowlers & Liz especially is miserable there. It would be...uplifting, like they're finally getting on their feet. In the BSC series, the Spier-Schafers did just that when their home burned down...they rented a house & rented furniture.

Summary: The Twins grow up!
Review: I loved this book. The old series was getting kind of boring. But so many things happen in this book! Elizabeth decides to change and changes enough to fall in love with Conner McDermott a guy who totally hates her. Jessica falls in love, too. But Will Simmons has a girfriend. And when she finds out... This is a great series!!!!

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: A Big Disappointment
Review: I waited a long time for Sweet Valley High: Senior Year to come out and when it did, I bought it immediately. But I was really disappointed with it. Elizabeth has changed so much - she seems like a different character, and it doesn't seem right making Jessica unpopular. There are so many new characters, and they rarely ever mention Winston, Todd, or Enid. I liked Sweet Valley how it was before the earthquake.
