Summary: Even AIM-bots know this is a bad idea.
Review: TheQD: So what do you think of this book "TTYL?"
SmarterChild: I don't really have any thoughts about this book ttyl.
TheQD: do you not find it demeaning?
SmarterChild: Sometimes.
TheQD: Do you think it will kill us all?
SmarterChild: Nah, I don't think so. Maybe, though.
TheQD: Yeah... maybe...
SmarterChild: Maybe not.
TheQD: No, maybe yes
SmarterChild: OK. Fine.

Imagine wading through a whole book of that. Don't just think of yourself, though, think of the poor, exploited AIM-bots. Think of the English language. Think of America. Think of Freedom.

Not buying this book is a not buying this book for our future, for America, for democracy.

The 3 teenagers witness the tough parts of 10th grade, boys, keeping it together, and boys! this book is hard to put down once u get started. ENJOY! I LOVED IT SOO MUCH N U WILL 2

Summary: Very Good Book!!!
Review: This book was sooooo horrible - I would never recomend it to anyone. It was extremly boring. I only read the whole thing becuase I like to finish what I start reading. When I was finished with the book I kept trying to find what the point of it was, but I am still sitting here wondering...I would never ever recomend this book to anyone.

Summary: Fun Read
Review: Ttyl, (Talk to you Later) is a book solely written in chat rooms and IMs, and you may suspect from the cover. It starts out with the first day of 10th grade and introduces three main characters. "SnowAngel" is peppy, perky Angela. "Mad Maddie" is tough Maddie. "Zoegirl" is quiet, shy Zoe. The conversations range from what the girls should wear on their dates to how Maddie got drunk and stripped. In 209 pages, you get to know the three characters and watch them being molded by mean girls, flirty teachers and cheating boyfriends. I would recommend this book for ages 14 and up, as some of the mentioned in this book are a little explicit.
Overall, this book is a good, summer read and fine for anyone who can handle it!

Summary: Who said that books in IM format wouldn't be great?
Review: When I firsted picked up this book in the teen section of Waldenbooks, I thought "Oh my gosh, I've gotta read this!" Mainly because I am an IM (instant messenger) addict, and the format of the book caught my attention.

Looking over the other reviews for TTYL, I am saddened. This book is not getting the recognition it deserves. It's a great read, actually. While some may say that the book isn't "well-written" or whatever else, I think it is. I'm a teen, and the majority of teens that I know would much rather read a book of the new age in technology rather than plain old text after text after text. It's truely an awesome book and has earned a spot on my book case at the beginning (where I keep the high rated books). :)
