Review: I really loved this book. I am fourteen, so I am one of those that the book was written for: Teens. (...) This is fiction. (...) Yes, Bethany does invoke the Dark Goddess twice and does a little damage, but in both those times she was being wrongly accused of outrageous stuff. That doesn't justify her actions (...)

Summary: Wonder Witchy Silver Stirs up Imaginative Fiction
Review: I think the title says it all! I recieved the book a couple of days ago, and I thought it was fab! Apart from the storyline(which is what everybody has looked at) I think the use of language, tone of voice, character play et cetera, were all so wonderfully blended togther that the outcome certainly deserves 10 Witchie stars! (pity they aren't pentacles!). Well done Silver, darling. Good luck in your next book, and may the Great Mother and Father descend apon you the same passion that you bestow apon us in your books!

Review: I thought this book was very very very good and really spoke tothe heart of teen witches male and female...I highly recomend thisbook to who ever is interested in buying it. I could not put it down!

Summary: Silver out did herself here
Review: I usually stay away from books that Silver Ravenwolf writes but this book was an exception. It surpasses all of her other books that i have read (teen witch, to ride a silver broomstick and so forth.) It doesnt give much practical information concerning wicca and in some areas is very exghagerated (sorry about the spelling). I started this book thinking that it was just another cheap rip off written to make money, by the end of the book i was completley entralled. The story line is a classic but changed enough to make it wonderful. Adding the practice of the craft to the story line made it well worth reading. I related to the characters perfectly. I got the feeling that MamaSilver put a lot of herself into one of the characters. Take my word for it, once you start this book you wont be able to stop. There was just one flaw, she got rid of all of the guys to fast. I dont mind reading a few books from a girls point of view but i was really looking forward to a book in this series with a guy as the character who tells the story. Other than that its great, BUY it!

Summary: Weakest of the series
Review: I was not particularly impressed with how this book began. Indeed, Bethany was obsessed with revenge, cold towards her so called friends, acted like a spoiled brat, and did not seem to care what the results of her magick might be. Thankfully, the writing style was easy to read and the story was fast-paced, and as the book went along Bethany became more likeable as she came out of her insular obsession with hatred and began opening up to her friends, working for good, and learning more about the true capabilities for and uses of magick. I can understand how someone crazy with grief might seek revenge; however, the portrayal of Bethany's hatred at the beginning doesn't show Wiccans in the most positive light... By the end of the book this changes; however, hopefully people won't stop reading at the first few chapters and come away with the wrong idea. The story itself is melodramatic and farfetched, even for a thriller. I had to stretch my suspension of disbelief. I found the ending rather unsatisfactory as two characters are removed from the series for what seems to be no good reason. Still, for all its flaws, the book did succeed in entertaining me enough to pick up the next in the series. I have found that the two following books are great improvements on this one. However they make better sense if you've read this one... Don't judge the series by this book, particularly by the beginning.

Summary: Real Teens, Real Witches
Review: It is great to finally see a book on the shelf that speaks to the hearts of real teens and real witches. I read this book on a "day off" in 6 hours! I couldn't put it down! I recommend this book to teen girls, especially the ones with major teen angst! You will find Bethany (the main character) to be someone who you can relate to. I also recommend this book to teens interested in the Craft and those who are not, but who like a good mystery!

Summary: Witchs' Night Out
Review: Like all the other fabulous books written by Silver this one ranks right up at the top. I recieved the book on Tuesday May. 2nd, and could not put it down till I was finished. It is both a Fantastic read and will keep you on the edge of your seat. It is one of the best Fiction/Mystery Novels I have ever picked up.It blends Witchcraft and Mystery and puts you right there in the story. It is true what the Book conveys:"Night has fallen and Magick is afoot..." It is a must read for the Young and Old. Both thumbs up again to you Ms.Ravenwolf and keep up the Great work.

Summary: A Great Fiction Book!
Review: Much like people's reactions to he film "The Craft," you have to take this for what it is, fiction. Parts of it actually DO focus on teachings of wicca, but like Nancy's role in "The Craft," it shows how the main chericter, Bethany, gets so angry that she is willing to mistrust and manipulate the people that she should trust most- Her coven. I think that the outcome should have been that there was a horrible accident, and bethany realized it, the way the book ended didn't do the book justice. It made it seem like using Wicca for negative, selfish ways was o.k. But overall it was a good read.

Summary: She is trying TOO hard...
Review: Okay. I think Silver has tried too hard. Her books, like "To Stir A Magick Cauldron", "To Ride A silver Broomstick," and "To Light A Sacred Flame", were okay, but her lessons dropped when "Teen Witch" came around. I think her ways of wicca are just teaching teens how "popular" witchcraft is, and I don't think she takes Wicca as seriously as she says she does. This book, "witches Night Out", is nothing more than more of her "popular" nonsense that she insists on brining out. This book has nothing but the popular sides of Wicca, and it isn't only the negative-vibe, its also the fact that this book tries too hard to warm your hearts and ends up confusing you. It is a waist of time and I dont recomend this book at all.
