Summary: ummm... hey ...
Review: ... FIRST of all, she is NOT trying to "get out ofjail" its called a "window". see? its what people useto look outside from inside their houses. In fact, through the course of events in the plot, NONE of the characters even GO to jail. personally, the only thing i have against the author is the fact that shes marketing some witches starters set, but other than that, she produces very well written, informative works which help lead many of today's young and old, alike, to understand, embrace, and join in on this wonderful religion which has gotten quite a bad rep for years. another point, you claim she "doesnt have the guts" to write under her own name, yet ur name is "a reader from everywhere." This book was a good book, well written, which i am glad she has written because, perhapes, one of my fellow classmates may pick this book up at the book store, and understand this religion is neither "satanic" nor "evil". and, yes, the book was, *gasp*, fun! this book was made up enjoyable characters which talk and act like *real* teens do. i feel it quite unreasonable for you to imply that "Ms. RavenWolf" is responsible for all the girls who feel as if in this day and age one must be thin to be attractive. She is a leader of the pagan book world and it seems you are merely too blinded by your own superiority that this book INDEED achieves what it was meant to, provide tangible evidince of *true* witches with a *young adult* theme.

Summary: I thought it was good!
Review: As a person in my mid-twenties, I have recently beome interested in wicca and witchcraft. As a result, I have read just about anything I can get my hands on. I really liked this book. Some of the reviews have been negative, but I think that some people need to relax. It is fiction, after all. The characters may not have followed the Wiccan Rede, but sometimes in life, people don't always do what they are supposed to do. In short, I enjoyed the book, and I think that most people would too.

Summary: Ravenwolf knows what makes your skin crawl!
Review: At first, I thought that the book was too thin for it to have any type of interesting meat in it! But the first few pages just grasps you into a realm of intrigue and sabotage! I loved it!

Summary: Witches Night Out
Review: How do I love Silver Ravenwolf as a writer? Let me count the ways, but this is not one of them. Silver should stick to what she knows. This book lacked depth and plot. Her book beneath a Mountain Moon should be caterogized in the same manner, after 60 pages or so, I had to put it down; I just lost interest. However, her how to books on Wicca for adults and teens alike are exceptional. Her Teen Kit for witches is fantastic, I just wish there was one for adults. I also wish she would write an autobiography of her life and how she became a witch--these are the things that Silver is best at--not fiction. L.J. Smith is the author to read for young adult fiction, it has intrigue, suspsense mystery all rolled into one. Silver Ravenwolf is a teacher--the best when it comes to the Craft, but as far as writing fiction--she should leave that to someone else and write what she knows!

Summary: Wasn't that bad.. wasn't that good either...
Review: I am a 15 year old Pagan, (I am not a Wiccan). This book was a "cute" story about 5 Witch teens solving a "murder" mystery. I do admit that it didn't have the best plot, or best writing, and Silver could have done much better; but I found it to be entertaining and I believe that many young adults would enjoy it. I do believe that Ravenwolf could have portrayed Paganism in a more accurate fashion. The spell at the beginning of the book has a lot of the old stereotypes about making it "spooky" also the main character owns a black cat and her last name is Salem. Yes, many people own black cats and have this last name, but this is a book and these traits are there on purpose. I would recommend this book to someone if they wanted a "fling" or just something to do, but I wouldn't give it to them if they wanted to know about Witchcraft.

Summary: Marvelous and Bewitching
Review: I am a 16 year-old Wiccan and even though most people doen't like this book. i loved it! Now, i'm not the avrage teen "witch" I actually hardly ever cast any spells. i mostly focus on the spirituality. I liked this book because I could actually relate to the charecters. It's very imaginative and it takes the religion of wicca and mixes it with real teenage problems. It actually teaches karma and what happens if you don't follow it's rule. These are teenagers with real problems and I couldn't stop reading the book. i don't know why people seem to despise Silver ravbenwolf so much. She's a great writer and I love her books. Keep on writing Ms. Ravenwolf!

Summary: Fun book!
Review: I believe that this book was probably written for kids in my age group (I'm 15), so I thought I'd write my opinion! I really enjoyed this book- I couldn't put it down and ended up reading it in one evening- although I think that a lot of the things that the coven in the story does should NOT be considered as plausible actions for real teenagers to take. In other words, it's a FICTIONAL story, so don't take it too seriously.. just read it and enjoy it. Have some fun!

Summary: Why there's not a lot of wicca
Review: I feel that I should point out that Ms. Ravenwolf probably wasn't too concerned with the wiccan rede because she is not wiccan herslef. Not all witches are wiccans. I thought it was a cute book, the only thing that bugged my was some of the sentence structure, etc. I think it's great FICTION.

Summary: A Good Read
Review: I found this book quite entertaining but it did leave out the religious part of the Craft, except in the character Tillie. I could wax ecstatic about the way a certain previous reviewer who wouldn't even give their name misinterpreted the cover badly, but I, unlike some people, am here to review the book. I do not feel that calling on the Wild Hunt is a good idea in any circumstance, however, if you have read the book and seen what happens when the characters do, you would have to be absolutely thick to do so. Back to reviewing, however. I feel this book is quite excellent for Witches who have been discriminated against (and I am one), making me realize I am much better off. Also, if you are not a Witch, it makes an interesting story. Oh, and to the person I mentioned earlier: It's not jail, and some people dress like that now unless you are from the eighteen hundreds you should not be surprised. I say, have you read the book at all?
