Rating: Summary: The Angels Trilogy Review: I thought The Angels Trilogy was a great novel. It starts when 16 year-old Leah Lewis-Hall is stuck in an Indianapolis hospital. While her mother is in Japan with husband number 5 on a great honeymoon, Leah is spending Christmas in the hospital. She's miserable until she meets her hospital roomie, a sweet Amish 6 year-old, Rebekah Longacre and her big family, Sarah, Ethan, Charity, Elizabeth and Nathan. When Leah finds out she has bone cancer, her new friends show her that miracles can happen and angels show up in the most unexplained places. Like the mysterious Gabriella who turns out to be an angel. Throughout the story Leah and Ethan become very close and Leah finds out about her past and that her stepfather Niel Dutton also has cancer. When she hoped to find out a lot she didn't think it would lead to this. While this is happening Ethan is taking his fling which is something Amish do to experiment with the world. One day when Leah was driving to the Longacre farm a truck was on the property so she races to the hospital and finds out that little Rebekah was in the accident and is struggling for life. Leah has taken in enough. Soon Ethan has moved in with Leah's family. Then Neil's cancer is back. Find out what happens when you read this book! It's my favorite book! I've read it 4 times and starting the 5th time! And every time I read it I always cry. It's an inspirational novel. It got me more interested in the Amish ways too! My favorite character was Rebekah.
Rating: Summary: The greatest trilogy by this author yet! Review: If you like books like these, this one is a must read! I cried when I read about Leah Lewis-Hall's life. How she fell in love with an Amish guy, but could fit into his world. She meets him at the hospital where she is diagnosed with bone cancer.

Rating: Summary: One of the best books I've ever read! Review: It was a great book once you started reading it you could not stop. It was sad how it ended. But leah found out that you cant always be with the ones you love.I really loved the book and I am thinking of reading it again.
Rating: Summary: Angels Trilogy Review Review: Lurlene McDaniel does a wonderful job with this book. Her characters seem to come to life with just her discriptions. Lurlene's style of writing is not like many others. She does a good job placing events where they need to be and not jumping from one place to the other. Her transitions are good and well thought out. I never wanted her book to end, the ending really needs a sequal! I wish the ending was little better. This is one of the most excellent books i have ever read. I don't think Lurlene could've done a better job with her writing.
Rating: Summary: Amazing! Review: Lurlene McDaniel's book Angel Trilogy was amazing. I have never read a book that made me feel like I was there. I felt like I was right there with the characters. I felt their pain and happiness. This book is romantic yet it still has a point.
Rating: Summary: stuck in the hosptal? In love with someone you cant have? Review: That is what happens to Leah. This is the story of her overcoming Lukema and getting a new father, and loosing a love.
Rating: Summary: This is a book that should be on every young girl's shelf... Review: The Angels Trilogy was actually my first Lurlene McDaniel book but you can be sure it won't be my last. How very cool that it was three stories in one. I read the whole thing in one sitting and yes of course I cried. lol Though I have to admit towards the end of the last story things started to get quite frustrating and the ending just kinda drops ya know? But nonetheless this book was fantastic and in fact very imforming. I love McDaniel's simple yet elegant way of writing. A must read if you are a fan of sad stories which I've always been.^^
Rating: Summary: Lurlene McDaniel's The Angels Trilogy Review: The Angels Trilogy, consisting of Angels Watching over Me, Lifted Up by Angels, and Until Angels Close My Eyes, was a very good read. Lurlene McDaniel is a very talented author who writes about tough subjects. In this book, we meet Leah. Leah gets cancer at the age of 17. Facing trouble, she goes at it head on, meeting Ethan, a handsome Amish boy. Leah learns about the Amish, and falls in love with Ethan. I, too, fell in love with him. Ms. McDaniel brought me into the story. I was Leah, I was Ethan, I was everybody. Everybody should read this. I was hesitant at first since it is 552 pages, but every word of it was worth reading.
Rating: Summary: great!!!! Review: this book is very good. i love reading about the amish. i've just started reading books by this author because i was afraid there was just too much romance in htem. boy was i wrong! htis author writes with just about enough of every thing although her endings tend ot be sad! i was bawling at the end of these books!but still htey are a great fast read, and teach you the true meaning of family.
