Summary: Still a classic for me.
Review: I read this for the first time in 6th grade. It was being sold at my school book fair, and so I was introduced to it this way. I remember in past years looking for it, and it is a little hard to find, but websites like these make it readily available so it's not as much of a problem.

Anyway, the storyline is pretty gripping, though can be a little monotonous and long. There are two styles of writing in this book. There is the third person narrative of the author in present day, and then the voice of Clementine, a girl from the past reliving her life through memories. It's not at all confusing, since it is divided into chapters and you can obviously tell the historical sections from the present day ones, but some chapters get a little lengthy.

The main character, Molly, is mentioned in other books by Kathryn Reiss. If you have ever read her other stories, you will recognize some of the character's names and attitudes/personalities. This makes it nice because you know it's all connected in some way or another. Makes it a little more predictable, but familiar. I like this quality in her books.

The storyline in general isn't all that complicated, but relies a little much on a subtle imagination. It doesn't take much to figure things out in this book, and the ending really isn't surprising at all. In fact, it's almost expected. But it's fitting and so it doesn't ruin the story at all.

I would recommend this to young adults, those who like small and simple ghost stories, or those who just want a pretty fast read to get away from things. It's pretty easy reading and goes relatively quickly, only about 250 pages or so.

This book remains one of my childhood favorites, and my friends have often noted how much they liked it in the past as well.

Summary: Best Book Ever!
Review: Dreadful Sorry is a book for People who love to read. I wouldn't recommmend it for anyone unde 10. It is full of excitement and mystery like on what you think will happen next. It is about a girl who dreams of ghost and drowning. She stays with her dad in this old Victorian style house. Then for some strange reason she starts dreaming about a girl (Clemintine). SHe dreams her whole life up till where Clemintine drowns in a boat wreck. The girl then starts findig out why this is happening and helps a few "friends" along the way. You'll have to read the book to find out what happens. This book is for people who like mystery and ghost like me. You'll never want to put it down! I hope that you will read this book,Dreadful Sorry.

Summary: A slightly huanting book that you will love
Review: Although it has been over a year scince i read this book, i still clearly remember how much i loved it. I was drawn to do a search on this title becuase i am looking for the book to give as a birthday gift. My best friend has loved this book for years and she has read it so many times that she has been forced to use both scotch and duct tape to repare the cover of the book. My friend and i are both 16, and although this book is written for 12-13 year olds, i have no shame in telling you that this a tremendous book. The reader will be instintly sucked into the plot and characters and will feel a wide range of emotions. One moment i was full of admiration for Jared and the next i could feel nothing but disgust for Clementine, the past life of Molly. All in all, i would definitly recomend this well written book!

Summary: The best book ever written
Review: As soon as I bought this book I watned to read it. I could not put it down, so I was dead tired, but I had to finish it in one night. It's a great story about Molly, a girl who is afraid of water, who is thrown in a pool by Jared, her friend's cousin. She almost drowns, and hightails it up to Hibben, Maine, where she has weird dreams about a girl named Clementine, who-- GASP!-- looks surprisingly like Molly! Jared follows her.... This book is a great combination of mystery, thriller, and romance. I ave read it about five times and I still do not tire of it! If yo're looking for a great book, here it is!

Summary: Dreadful Sorry
Review: This book is one of my absolute favorites. If I were a producer, I would get this story into a movie without a second thought. The book is about a young girl named Molly who has waterphobia eversince she was little. One day, she met her best friend's cousin, Jared, and when they were a party together, she gets thrown into a pool by HIM. Ever since then, she starts seeing hallucinations while she's awake, other than just the bad dreams she's been having before. Read it, I totally recommend it. It's one of the best stores, I think.

Summary: The Best Book in The World
Review: The book Dreadful Sorry is one of the best books I have ever read. I liked all of the characters and each one, I thought, made the book even more interesting. The book is about a girl named Molly who is afraid of swimming because of a girl named Clementine Horn who is in Molly's very realistic dreams(or more like nightmares.) This book is very, very, very, very(you get the point) good. I was hooked from the beginning to the end. This book was very good and I recomend it to everyone. Kathryn is a GREAT author. The next book I am planning to read of hers is the glass windows book. READ THIS BOOK! YOU WILL LOVE IT, I GUARENTEE!

Summary: Best Book Ever
Review: This is one of the best books I've ever read. I know I'm only 12 but my intelligence is above average. Pale Pheonix and Kathryn Reiss's other books are also awesome. I think that she is as good a writer as J.K. Rowling. I want to get all her books and read them. I think she should be more well-known and famous because she is one of the best writers that I've ever read books from. I know that she's probably trying to make a grown-up book but her books are still very interesting to me.

Summary: The BEST book I have EVER read!!!!
Review: I'm only 13 years old, but I crave good books. This book is a book that you could never put down for a second! I don't have tons of free time so it took me a week to read its 340 pages. I agree it has alot of swear words, but my reading teacher told us that to really feel what is happening its ok to have those words.
