Summary: Worst book I ever read
Review: I have read many books, inlcuding several that portray stories from midevil times, this one was the worst. It was terrible. Words cannot describe how boring this book is. I mean really, really, really boring. I do not recommend it at all.

Summary: The book was the best I have ever read.
Review: This book is very intriguing. It makes you think about life and also it is very descriptive. It helps to visualize the story. I am very glad that there was no pictorial content besides descriptiveness because I like to picture the characters in my own mind and not have a set visualization in my mind. Everyone I know who has read this book has loved it as much as I do. It is a book that I would keep forever to pass to my children so that they experience the wonderful writings of T. H. White. The characters were loveable and they created a type of suspense in that the description kind of slowed the plot down. It made me wonder what was going to happen next. Once something happened, I was always on my toes to prepare myself for the next incident. The Once and Future King made me react. I laughed hard in some parts and in some parts I cried. I felt a certain connection to the characters. I could almost relate to the characters, and came close to predicting some spots. All in all, this book was wonderful and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has a passion for reading such as I do.

Summary: Excelent, the best book on the topic I have ever read.
Review: Originally I had to read this book for a Pre-IB course at the high school I attend. After reading the first few chapters, however, I found the book more enjoyable and began reading it more for fun than as an assignment. I enjoyed it so much, I re-read it just to go through the story line again. Once And Future King is perhaps THE best book ever written on the Authurian legend. This book has encouraged me to read other books about Arthur, Merlin and Camelot, both by T.H. White and by other authors. It is a highly recomendable book and it is a great way to become interested in King Arthur and the occurences at Camelot. If anyone is even somewhat interested in Arthur, this is the book to read. It is very hard to explain in words how good of a book this is so just try it and see for yourself!!

Summary: A book that is educational and enthralling.
Review: I read this book when I was twelve and in the sixth grade. Another friend had recommended it. The length of the book, (I read the hardcover version), scared most of my friends. I even had to beg my reading teacher to let me use it for the reading rewards program at school. My book report was 8 pages long, and I felt that it wasn't long enough. I learned so much about history, that spending the time to read this book was so worthwhile! You should read it too!

Summary: This book made me cry.
Review: I read this book while driving a combine harvesting beans in Nampa, Idaho many years ago. It is a truly great love story. Not only is it about the eternal triangle, but also the love of life - sublime ideals soaring toward perfection only to be forsaken by this earthly tether sealing their fate. Another great love story of these mythological proportions is the Ramayana, which I also highly recommend.

Summary: King Arthur Still Dreams
Review: Some of my best times has been listening to my sister, a medievalist, discuss King Arthur and his legends.  This is a good place to dive into the Myth.

White's creation of the relationship of Arthur with Merlin, and with his own brother Sir Kay, is what pulls most readers in at the start. Lancelot, who is a pretty boy in most film and recent novelizations, is a ugly hulking brute who tries his best (it reminds one of the recent creation of Quoyle in The Shipping News). And you may be surprised to find that White invented the part of the Merlin legend that Merlin lives backward in time.

Yet some parts of the story you may think White invented - such as Lancelot's discovery of what Grace is - - was created by Mallory. ("And ever Sir Lancelot wept as he had been a child that had been beaten.") Many critics, of course, squawk that Mallory merely recopied the French tales. That is too simplistic. The French were interested in who slept with who. Mallory's original contribution defines what our idea of nobility is - - transcending your circumstances and self, White takes Mallory carries the torch to our generation. Again, this is a great place to dive into the Arthur Myth - - it will whet your appetite for Arthurian stories, investigations and research like an addict in search of his next hit or a fanatic in search of miracles.

Summary: WOW!!!
Review: This book is wonderful! I could barely stand to put it down and right after I finished it I went back and re-read my favorite parts. I think most people would love this book (I'm 12 yrs. old and I know I did!).

Summary: The most beautiful book ever written
Review: I first read this book in 10th grade as an assignment, and quickly fell in love with it. The characters are so real and human, so worthy of love and hate, you don't want the book to end. You want it to be real and live in it and know and love and hate Arthuer, Guinevere, Lancelot, Merlin, Morgan Le Fay, and all the other beautifully scripted characters. Truly, this is the book of sighs......
