Summary: decent story of queen elizabeth the first young life
Review: this is another biograghy on queen elizabeth the first early
life. it was pretty good but i think it would have been better if
they had started it from the beginning of her life instead of at
age 13 when her father died. queen elizabeth had one of the most
interesting childhoods of any monarch i have read and the author
did not bother mentioning it at all. overall it does do justice
to her life up and until her ascention to the throne at age 25.
personally if you like her life story i think mary kay does a
better job with the book legacy.

Summary: An Extraordinary Book
Review: This is another wonderful book by Carolyn Meyer. Princess Elizabeth (the future Queen Elizabeth the First) is the only surviving child of Henry VIII and his second out of six wives, Anne Boleyn. This book chronicles the years after her father's death. Elizabeth is third in line to the crown according to the Line of Succesion in her father's will, which leaves her a slim chance of ever becoming Queen. But, the Line of Succession eventually is changed. Elizabeth overcomes many obstacles and dangers in this book most of them are due to her older half-sister and arch enemy, Queen Mary. However, Elizabeth's intellingence, ambition and determination prove to be supreme and she overcomes all odds. This book does a wonderful job of bringing this exceptional and dramatic story to life.

Summary: Watch out, Elizabeth
Review: This story takes place in London, during the rule of King Henry VIII. He has two daughters, one to his first wife, Catherine, he had their marriage anulled and then married Anne Boleyn, who beared his second daughter, in which after he has her beheaded. Mary, was his first born, and Elizabeth his second. They were both told they were not fit to rule London. Their father has another child, though, a boy this time, in which is fit to rule.
At the palace in which Elizabeth is staying, she gets news that her father has died. Now they go to London, and Elizabeth's brother becomes King. But when things don't go well for him and he dies, Mary becomes Queen and restores the Catholic religion. Elizabeth, a prostentant, is forced to attend Catholic mass, and is no longer allowed to beleive the Prostentant religion. The throne isn't as close as she thinks, and her sister won't easily be persuaded to make her the heir.
This book was particularly good. I enjoy fantasy stories as well as historical fiction, so this one i loved. I also read Mary, Bloody Mary, which in my opinion, wasn't an exciting of a story. This book makes you think how difficult life was back in the 1500's with all the beheadings and so. I would reccomend this book to everyone who love to read. I personally give this book 5 stars.

Summary: Beware, Princess Elizabeth
Review: This was a great story. This is a book for someone who loves the Royal diaries or the Dear america series. It was taking me by surprise every two minutes. The charecters were well described and easy to follow. You felt compassion for Elizabeth and for her sister Mary as well. When edward became king he changed from to a loving brother to a pitiful boy looking for respect. Mary was a lonly soul who was looking for revenge. And elizabeth was the princess no one wanted. I read the book over and over again. I would really recemend it.

Summary: Awesome
Review: What a great book! Even though I knew Elizabeth would live to become queen, it was very difficult to put this book down after the first few chapters.
