Rating: Summary: Great Job Meyer! Review: This book is truly a great historical fiction book written by Meyer. Princess Elizabeth Tudor is the daughter of the mighty King Henry VIII of England. Her mother was Queen Anne Boleyn, but she was executed for adultery. Elizabeth's sister is Mary, and her brother Edward. Now, her father is dead, leaving her frail brother king at age nine. Elizabeth is swept away by King Edward's court, when they are alone, they are brother and sister. But with the royal advisors and privy councillors, he is this great monarch. Edward, as hard as he tries, he is still frail and sick. Sadly, poor Edward dies, and here comes the times Elizabeth was in danger. Mary inherits the throne, and is a treat to all of England. She wants to restore the Catholic faith, being a strict one herself. She gives out this warning to Protestant England, "Give up your evil and corrupt beliefs, or be burned alive." Mary though only reigned for five years, naming Elizabeth her heir at the last moment. When Mary died in December, Elizabeth was crowned queen in January. She firmly reestablished the Protestant Church, defeated the Spanish Armada, and ruled a glorious forty five years. Those years are now called the Elizabethean Age.

Rating: Summary: First Part was good Review: This book was good in the begining and you were not sure quite what was going to happen next. But after the first 3rd of the book, you were fairly sure what was going to happen, making it very predictable. It also read like a history book which made it a boring book. I would not recament this book at all!
Rating: Summary: Not as good as Mary, Bloody Mary Review: This book was interesting, and I gave it 5 stars. Mary, Bloody Mary was better though, and I thought that book was better because Mary is known as being not so good, so in that book it was interesting to read about her as a kid. Beware, Princess Elizabeth didn't have one big event, but many little ones. I still reccomend it, because there were things that I did learn from this book.
Rating: Summary: A Wonderful, Historic Read Review: This book was truly wonderful. I think it is the best in the Young Royals Series. I believe it gives great information about what really happened while being entertaining but not being fictionalized. I have a tip for readers who are interested in reading this book: Read Mary, Bloody Mary first as you'll know more of what's going on and beware, princess elizabeth will make more sense. If you are a fan of history, Queen Elizabeth or are just looking for a great read then look no further and read Beware Princess Elizabeth
Rating: Summary: A great historical read for all. Review: This is a great read for those who love European history. This book tells of Elizabeth, Princess of England, and her many struggles as she paves her way to the throne. At the beginning of the book, the thirteen-year-old princess has just learned of the tragic death of her father, King Henry VIII. As her brother is crowned the king of England, she moves to London with her stepmother, the dowager Queen Catherine, to her lovely home at Chelsea Palace. There she learns of the love affair between her stepmother and one Tom Seymour. She begins to fall in love with him, but soon her life is turned upside down when Tom Seymour is accused of many treasonous acts against her brother, the king. She is unprepared for the interrogations that lie ahead, but with her quick wit she is able to deceive her interrogators. After the death of Tom Seymour, she leaves a peaceful life in the countryside at Hatfield Palace, located to the north of London in the shire. However, her peaceful life ends with the tragic death of her brother, King Edward. With that, her enemy and sister, Mary, inherits the throne. For the next 5 years, Elizabeth is tortured and abused. During the five years of her imprisonment, she dreams of the day when she is crowned Elizabeth, queen of England. Fortunately, her dreams come true, and she is crowned queen. I highly recommend this book. This book tells a very descriptive life of Elizabeth, Princess of England. Please read and enjoy.
Rating: Summary: Beware, Princess Elizabeth... Great Book! Review: This is an excellent book about the life of Princess Elizabeth. It was really good for me because I had finished the Royal Diary about her and this one is like a follow up. I suggest you read both, the diary first and this one second. This book starts out when Henery the 8th dies. Elizabeth doesn't even find out until three days later!!! I won't give away the book, but many interesting things happen. Like, Elizabeth gets locked in the tower and she demands them to at least give her a nice bed. I really enjoyed this book and I hope you do to. ...
