Review: Cynthia Davis is a wonderful story teller. The Chrysalis is a "feel good" book that anyone can appreciate. Especially a great book for teens and young adults struggling with figuring out who they are! Once you get half way through it you won't be able to put it down- so be prepared for a late night, and then a peaceful sleep. I can't wait for her next book.

Summary: The coolest book in the world
Review: Everytime I read this book it is an enjoyable experience. I keeps me on the edge of my seat everytime. There is a little bit of the main characer, Christina, in each of us. Not always saying or doing the right thing. Sometimes feeling really out of place and wondering how and why you ended in the situation you find yourself. When you read the book you find yourself laughing and crying right along with her. Every person, especially most teenagers, dream of going through this transformation and becoming a different person. Which is exactly what Christina did!

She faces real-life problems with real-life emotions. She has a quick whit, a good mind and a loveble knack for finding disaster. Cynthia Davis masterfully weaves hot social topics into the plot to give the reader more than just entertainment. Your character can be strengthened along with Christina's as she discovers her purpose in life. The end will leave you wanting more. Let's hope a sequel is in the works!

The story unfolds nicely and developes quickly with a wealth of discription that makes it easy to image being there. Enjoy the characters and humor of this young adult novel.

Review: The Chrysalis is a great book!!! I loved it and have read it two times already!!! The book is about a girl named Chrisina who goes to camp to try to change. she wanted to be noticed as the thin girl with a date who does drama that used to sit in the back and never do anything.She didnt realize that she would have important choices to make at camp. to find out more, put this book in your cart!!!

Summary: A blast from my past!
Review: This book brought me back into a world that i was once in!I, like Cristina went to a summer camp as a counselor expecting the worst but recieving the best gift of all from it- self recognization. I too went to a metamorphisis while i was there caring for youngsters, and learning to be a leader. This book relates to everything in life. It's taught me a lot about relationships, and how to deal with every day problems. I love how this author incorporated her novel into her website at .... I've been there many times and am very impressed by the special features and interactions. I think it is unique that she let youth incorporate their ideas into the book, and let their voices be heard. That's one of the key ingredients to how this book came together. (besides the wonderful author, wife, and mother) I highly recommend it to all those interested in finding their own path in life, and to those who are looking for a good story to read by the fire.

Summary: Unforgetable story!
Review: This story has a way of catching your attention and never letting go. It is a wonderful story about a teenage girl going through her summer in hopes of longer hair and a smaller waist. It takes the reader through her struggles and rewards, ending with the reader interested in a sequel. I highly reccommend this book for everyone. Also has wonderful morals!
