Rating: Summary: A must read for anyone!! Review: This is the best book I have ever had the pleasure of reading. I had to read it for a class in 10th grade, and I have gone back to it at least once a year ever since (I'm now a sophomore in college). The characters are wonderfully constructed by Jane Austin, and I haven't read anything that compares to it yet. If you enjoy the book, I highly recommend the A&E/BBC production of it. It captures the book perfectly, and if you fell in love with Mr. Darcy the way I did, then you will fall in love with the brilliant actor who plays him, Colin Firth. A great read and a great movie to go along with it!

Rating: Summary: it was a really awesome book Review: This was one of the best books I've ever read, I'd recommend this book and all the other books by Jane Austen as must read books .
Rating: Summary: An enchanting piece of literature Review: When first introduced to this novel by my year 13 English teacher, I was extremely sceptical of how something written more than a century ago could be relevant to my own life, that of a rebellious 17 year old girl. Any doubts a may have had were banished after the first page, the satirical and down to earth text drawing me in almost immediately. As the characters and themes slowly developed before my eyes I began to realise how timeless they were. I will keep with me forever those infamous opening words...
