Summary: Shocked and Dismayed
Review: All right....after book 10, roughly, this series rapidly began to go downhill. It turned into a cheap soap opera--and I am still hopelessly addicted.

I was really, really angry at the shocker ending. It has quite a bit to do with Sam, so Sam fans be warned. I didn't like Sam, but that was a bad move to make with his character. I for one am not happy.

There were, however, some saving graces. For example, Tom Moore's adventures in Europe made for exciting reading, and the big revelation (why Loki REALLY wants Gaia) is made--and it will blow you away. That was genius. The other thing...wasn't. But the rest was quite good, aside from that.

So, I hope that everything is tied together in the next book--which I will certainly read, because I am hopelessly hooked.

Summary: slowly......ending.......series......
Review: For all you avid fearless readers out there, let me warn you, the book gets off to a very slow start. this is the 17th book in the intense series, but you can tell that the series is slowly ending. it all comes together in this book.

First of all, Tom is now in Brussels, still unbelievably concerned for Gaia and her saftey, yet he's still hasn't come back for her. (is anyone else getting a little annoyed with his repetitive whining??) But, Tom does find out why Loki wants Gaia, and believe me, its not for the best reasons.

Ed and Gaia are in the process of getting there friendship back on track, and now that both Heather and Sam (maybe?) are out of the picture, Ed is working up his courage to tell Gaia his true feelings. And the question is, would Gaia mind if he did? Maybe not. Sam is still torn between saving gaia's life or their relationship-there is a very profoundly written line in the book about that.

As I said, the beginning gets off to a slow start, but towards the end it picks up with astonishing speed. The twist at the end is heartbreaking, expect tears, and expect that Gaia's life will never be the same again. It was a good read, and I'de say that from the middle of the book on, maybe the best one yet.

Review: For those of us who are avid 'Fearless' readers, we may be able to tell that this series is slowly coming to an end. There were rumours of only 18 books, and now that we know it isn't true, we have to ask ourselves when Ms. Pascal will end the spirited theories.
I would never give a full review that gives all plot of the book, thus the publication being "ruined" for the reader. For those of you who would like the ending to be "spoiled", ask someone else that has read the book. Not me.
Let's get down to it. Pascal never fails to take your breath away. (And, in my case, drop the book and gasp.) Any stretch that seems "boring" or really, anything less than action-packed is only build-up. Then again, it could possibly be a peaceful aftermath of another surprising event, but that always has to be taken into account as "build up" as well.
The last and only books in the series to leave as much suspense in the last few pages are 'Fearless #8:Heat', and 'Fearless #12:Killer'. And 'Fearless' fans may have some nondescript idea of what is about to take place in the plot.
Gaia is aware that 'Loki' is an evil man... she just has no idea who Loki is. Her uncle? Her father? Will she ever find out? One night changes all the questions but the answers aren't any easier to discover. It's one of the last sentences on page 213. One that will cause you to gasp, cry, scream, collapse, or maybe all of them. It was an amazing creation, though. Nothing short of any expectations. Just read it. That's all I can say.

Summary: A shocking, intense addition to the Fearless series.
Review: Gaia doesn't know who to trust anymore -- Tom or Oliver. She doesn't know what Loki is planning, or which man is worse -- or which one is telling the truth. Meanwhile, Tom is more desperate than ever to save Gaia. Loki's catching onto him fast, and time is running out. As he desperately pursues the hideous plan of Loki for Gaia, he discovers a horrifying secret. And Sam Moon, who is being used by the insidious Josh to carry out his orders, is finding it more difficult than ever to do as his roommate says. He doesn't know that much about Josh, but he does know that Josh is evil. And one mistake in his path can lead to the end of the line for Gaia, or for him. Fearless #17: Flee is an intense addition to the series that blazes with suspense and intrigue; until its shocking climax, I thought it was one of the best in the series. The author is top-notch in this book at intrigue and surprises.

Summary: Flee
Review: Gaia is torn between living with the Moss's and moving in with her Uncle Oliver. She knows that she can trust the Moss's, and her uncle is the supposed "Loki", but what if her father was lying and her uncle really HAS good intentions? The only person Gaia has to talk to is her best friend Ed. But now that Ed is out of his wheelchair, Gaia is looking at him differently. She is feeling things for him she never felt before. But Gaia can't think about that now. She has to figure out what the heck is going on with Sam Moon. Sam is fallowing her everywhere and before he gets the chance to really tell her what is going ON, he always runs away. What is UP with him?
Sam knows that he has to tell Gaia the truth. But how? How can he warn her, especially after he meets Loki himself and Loki is even more terrifying than anyone Sam has ever met? Sam has to find a way. But, the question is, how can he find a way to tell her the truth without putting them both in danger?
Ed has GOT to tell Gaia the truth. His eyes have opened up and he realizes that he is not in love with Heather, but in love with Gaia. But how is he going to tell her? And, if he does tell her, will she dis him, or does she feel the same way? Gaia is totally unpredictable, but Ed can't help but notice that whenever Gaia looks at him there is something different in her eyes. Is it just Ed's imagination? Or is something really there?
Tom is devistated after leaving his beloved Gaia. He seeks the truth of Loki's plan. And when Tom finds it, it is even more horrible than he can ever imagine.

Okay...I felt kind of bad at the end of this book. I mean, i thought that Sam was a total loser with no backbone and no courage. Guess i was proved wrong. The ending totally shows that Sam truly did love Gaia and wasn't just obsessed with her. I admit that i even shed some tears at the end. And i was totally surprised at Loki's plan for Gaia! I thought i was reading wrong, and had to read the page over again, lol.

Summary: Great Book!
Review: Gaia's life has not gotten any better. SHe's stuck with a horrible choice, should she stay and live with the Mosses or move in with her uncle. This decision haunts her every thought and she can't come to a conclusion. But Gaia isn't the only one in a dilemma. Her ex-boyfriend Sam is torn between his own conscience and love for Gaia and his fear for Gaia and his life. Ed dosen't know whether to tell Gaia how he really feels or to turn back to Heather. ANd maybe the most complicated problem of all, Tom needs to find out what Loki is planning on doing to Gaia, and the truth is more haunting then he would ever imagine.

Though the beginning was a bit slow the later fast paced plot and shocker ending toatally makes up for it. I can't wait till book #18 comes out. And their are rumors going around that #18, Love, is the last in the series. Judgeing from the plot in this book it appears the rumors are ture. Hope you enjoy the book as much as I did!

Summary: too overated!?
Review: I hated this book because of all its stupid boring stuff with her dad and her uncle i got worried that after sucha great series that Pascal was running out of ideas and storylines. Most of the book was filed with analytical, pyscobable that bored me. I love the fearless books and what happened in no.17 seemed like more of a disapointment than a tragedy. Not to say that what happened to sam wasnt a briliant twist but to go through all that to get to one exciting storyline was just plain disapointing! It didnt grab me the whole way through like most of the previous fearless books, i felt like i was being dragged through a load of ... just to get to this shocking ending and basically it could have been a lot better. To give it 3 out of 5 is generous, but to give it anything more shows that Pascal has succeeded in cheating you of what should have been a briliant book. She has made you think that by giving the reader one simple twist she can hold you on til she thinks of something better. Lets hope that no.18 will prove me wrong! To Overated, and i dont have anydoubt that im the only person thinking that!?

Summary: SAD.... TEARS......SHOCKING......
Review: I have been hooked on this book since the first one came out. I was very sad and angry with this book and how they ended it.. Sadly but surely this series is ending, Sam fans, brace yourself for some serious tears... when I read the ending i was in class and I started crying. A tear jerker but still a good book.....I can't wait to read #18 Love.....

Summary: sad conclusion!!
Review: I have read the whole series, and I think that this book has the saddest ending out of all of them. I don't want to give it away to anyone that hasn't read it....but be prepared for a few tears. Other than that, the book was pretty good, as are all the books in the Fearless series. It explained a lot of things to the reader, but very little to Gaia. What is most heart-wrenching about the book is that Gaia has no clue about what happened to a certain someone at the end of the book. I can't wait to read the next one-I'm still kind of hoping that the ending wasn't as sad as the author made it sound!

Summary: EXTREMELY disappointing!!
Review: I have read this series from the very beginning, and was genuinely interested in what happened . . . even though the series was getting PAINFULLY long after the first 10 books.

However, #17 has completely killed any interest that I had in the series at all. The first 16 books completely set up Gaia and Sam's relationship as some sort of fated romance, like Romeo and Juliet . . . you keep thinking that no matter what happens, they HAVE to end up together. I really expected #17 to have some sort of tearful and romantic reunion between them, since the rest of the plot wasn't particularly gripping. (Who else skims over the parts narrated by Gaia's father?)

But no! Whatever you think is going to happen, doesn't. That's not always a bad thing. But in this case, #17 completely ruined my opinion of Gaia, and the entire series. Not only do she and Sam not get together, but her interest is already moving to someone else!! After ALL of that build-up, all of the ill-fated misery and torture that they put each other through - and subsequently the reader, by having to read about it - #17 has Gaia interested in somebody else. Just like that! Not only was it completely from out of nowhere, but it seemed totally out of character for Gaia. The first 16 books portray her as being obsessively in love with him, and all of a sudden, she's interested in someone else. Now her character comes across as completely fickle and selfish, and after reading this book, I no longer care what happens to her.

This series would have been a lot better if it wouldn't have dragged on so long . . . and if the rest of the books hadn't built up some sort of expectation that is completely unfulfilled. I actually tossed the book in the trash, out of sheer disgust.
