Review: I have read a lot of books in my lifetime and this one is the best. I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. It also inspired me to read other William Sleator books like The Night the Heads Came, which was also a great book. I am very thankful I used this website to find this book. If you are reading this message, I strongly suggest you take the time to go out and read this book.Christopher 12yrs. old

Interstellar Pig has to be the best sci fi book I have read. I read it for the first time in the 7th grade. Now here in college (I'm 19 now), I'm looking to order a copy to have one forever and pass it to my kids. Enjoy it for the fantasy and imagination, for it makes you think throughout the book.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: interstellar pig Review: I just finished re-reading this book...it was just as good as when I read it at 14. Interstellar Pig is the name of a game; the object of the game: get the Piggie. This book has an amazingly intense and unpredictable plot, with a beautifully climatic ending. It is quite unlike any other young adult fantasy book, and I highly recommend it.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Interstellar Piglet Review: I just read Interstellar Pig over the summer of 2002. I am 31 and thought that it would be a poorly written kids sci-fi book. Boy was I wrong. This is one of the most imaginitive sci-fi books I have ever read. I was surprised by the writing style and the ideas. There were numerous twists and turns. It's not just about aliens but about choices, about making quick snap decisions. Not necessarily a guide for life but still a good book for anyone to read. I really could not predict what was going to happen next. It has supsense, action, and at times it just makes you think about life, and about what it is we are here to do on earth. I wish it were longer, I wish he would have went more in depth but I was still very pleased.

It has been a while since I read it but I decided to write a review so that everyone would know how good it is and read it for themselves. Two other books I recommend: "The Golden Compass" and "The Subtle Knife" by Philip Pullman.

My favorite part was... the whole book was evenly good? If you like aliens, cool games and other sci-fi stuff I recommend you read this book. I really was hoping to find out that Interstellar pig was a real game. Don't understand what I just said? Then you'll have to read it and maybe you'll find out!

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: This Book Takes The Piggy's Cake! Review: I read this book at least 3 times before it came up missing and still each and every sentence remains vivid in my mind. William Sleator truly has the magnificant ability to create the creative and detail the detailed. I have found that I have recommened this book to ten people minimum, and they all have spoken of it as highly as I did to them. I particularly love the part when Zena confronts Barney, saying, "Oh, Don't blame us, we tried to stop, we tried to make you yield the Piggy before it was too late,". She then goes on to tell him that he is now apart of this very real game. And that night when Barney played the game, and his friends became alienesque, and more such creatures began literally knocking on his door, he finds out just how real the game is. No one could capture a board game with universal scope like William Sleator. Kudos, William, Kudos.
