Summary: This book is awful
Review: The book Jackaroo is so awful I couldn't finish reading it. Because the author would spend pages and pages on the kind of soup the character was eating or what she was wearing. I have never read a worst book in my life.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Cool.
Review: This book rocks! I'm doing a book report on it. Anyone who want's to read a book about historical fiction / middle ages should read it.

Summary: Why must a book for teenagers be dumbed down?
Review: This book, unlike many books written for teenagers, is complex and thought provoking. If you just want action, don't look here. If you want dull, flat, black and white characters, don't look here. If you want to be taken to a different time and place, thrown into the midst of turmoil and drama, and if you want to read about the troubles and determination of one young girl, then this is the book for you.

Summary: Quer
Review: this is the first book of her's i've read. the first part (the inkeeper's daughter) was really slow and sort of just a prologe. but even if you think you're about to nod off, keep reading! part 2 is really really good, and definetly worth the wait. though this whole book seems quer (because it is) it is generally a very good read. i recomend it to all.

Summary: Jackaroo captures the mind and enchants the heart
Review: Voigt proves herself a gifted storyteller as she weaves this lavish tale of adventure and intrigue. Gwyn is a headstrong girl who will not allow the current of the times to sweep her into an undesired marriage to be subdued. Instead she is proud and strong, and uses these qualities in the most compassionate way possible as her imagination drinks in the stories of Jackaroo. This book is full of surprises and is told passionately. It is so vivid one wonders that this mystical realm of the Kingdom must be real...and Voigt satisfies the reader's thirst with three equally arfully written books.

Summary: Masked Defender or Marauder
Review: When I read Cynthai Voigt's 'Jackroo', I fell in love with it instantly. It is a beautifully written story revolving around the Kingdom (somewhere in Europe, unless fictional) and its legends of Jackroo. It reminded me a little of Robin Hood, but it is truly a wonderful story. I recommend this book to everyone. Also read the other books closely knit to this one: 'On Fortune's Wheel' and 'Wings of a Falcon.' Both as well are wonderfully written books that I found truly inspiring.

Summary: A great tale
Review: _Jackaroo_ is a complex fantasy about Gwyn, an innkeeper's daughter, who secretly takes on the role of Jackaroo, a Robin Hood-like legend. The story traces her experiences as she discovers what it truly means to be a hero and a human being. Gwyn is a brave and fascinating heroine, and I highly recommend this book.
