Summary: Suspense!!!!!
Review: Conner and Liz...caught! Jessica and Jeremy...romance never ending. Will and Melissa...tragedy. I can't wait for Boy Meets Girl. What happens between Maria and Liz after the 'surprise'? Jessica and Jeremy, his crazy life, will he be able to fit her in? Will and Melissa, will it work out? This is one of the best of the series so far. The book leaves you wondering what will happen next and even as you read it, it feels like you're there along with them. Liz :), Tia ;), Conner :):), Andy, Jessica :P, Maria :o, what will happen next? The little love triangle has blown out of control, and if you have read the previous books, you will know what i'm talking about. The Jessica/Melissa/Will/Jeremy situation has come to an abrupt surprise. Both for Liss and Will and Jeremy and Jessica. Can't wait for #7!

Summary: THE BEST ONE SO FAR
Review: I LOVE THIS NEW SERIES! This book is definitely the best so far, out of the entire senior year series. But I hope it gets better. These books are SO much more realistic than the old Sweet Valley High series. I'm getting tired of hearing about the twins' California golden blonde hair, their blue-green eyes of the Pacific Ocean, and perfect size six figures. Plus, the love between Elizabeth and Todd is getting so boring. I'm glad that she and Conner are getting together. Well, I hope so, since those two sound so perfect together. Hey, OPPOSITE ATTRACT! I'm finally glad that Jessica got some of her self esteem back. Watch out, Melissa Fox! Jessica is coming back, STRONGER THAN EVER. I'm also glad that some of the main characters are gone such as Todd, Lila, and Amy. But I hope Ken will become a main character in this new series. He is my favorite OLD character, beside Liz and Jess. My favorite NEW characters are Tia, Conner, Andy, and Jeremy. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, MS. PASCAL. CAN'T WAIT FOR BOY MEETS GIRL (#7)!

Summary: I have some empathy for melissa
Review: okay, we all love jess and liz and want to destroy anyone who goes up against them.this is how i first felt about melissa. she started all these rumors about jess. wait- before i go on ,i let you know i have only read a few of the senior year books. anyways, this book helped me understand liss more. she is not just completely evil, she has problems. like the deal with her mother. doesn't anyone else feel for her? SO in the end my oppinion of liss has slightly wavered from hatred to sympathy.

Summary: Definitely one of the best SVHSY...
Review: Why is this book the best? Well because everything starts to happen. For example Melissa does something drastic and Conner and Elizabeth's realationship starts to go somewhere before running into a minor problem.
These are basically the storylines that are mentioned in the book:
Melissa: After being ditched by Will at the the end of Book 5 after taunting Jessica at a Big Mesa party Melissa is going through her version of hell. Her mother is constantly nagging her and then Will breaks up with her. Of course this pushes her over the edge and makes her do the something drastic.
Jeremy & Jessica: Jessica is still thinking Jeremy ditched her( see a pattern??) when he heard all the rumours told by Melissa and her friends except it was because his father had a heart attack. They confront each other at the end of the book and with pleasing results :)
Elizabeth, Maria & Conner: Elizabeth and Conner look like they are on their wayto getting together except Maria's still got feelings for Conner and Elizabeth told Maria she didn't like Conner to Maria to make her feel better. Ooopsies. Especially since Maria catches Elizabeth and Conner kissing in Conner's kitchen.
A few things that make SVHSY good are the pages in between chapters where you get e-mails, diary thoughts, and so on from each character in their ''handwriting''. They also get some good things to say. A good line from this book is when Melissa tells her mother that Will broke up with her and her mother responds ''What did you do?''. Very funny.
If this sounds good go out and grab a copy. The next book is #7 Boy meets Girl which is about Jeremy and Jessica and the book before this one is #5 If you only knew.
Happy Reading:)

Summary: Best SVH:SY book!
Review: Will Simmons broke up with her long-time girlfriend, Melissa Fox. Liss got very upset and tried to commit suicide. Moreover, Jessica felt bad for her.

Conner really wants Elizabeth. He has kissed her again and again. When Maria asked Liz about Conner, Liz lied and she felt so bad for lying to her very best friend. At last, when Maria came over to Liz's (Conner's), she caught the two kissing and she cried.

Jeremy Aames' father had a heart attack and he's been staying in the hospital. Jeremy has put aside everything - football, his job at House of Java, rest and even Jessica! He got so worn out and had forgotten to call Jess and make up with her. He then later explained everything to Jessica and she felt so sorry.

I am so happy Elizabeth and Conner are together! Maria needs to get over Conner, so that Elizabeth won't have to hide and feel guilty all the time. Jeremy is such a great guy and he belongs to Jessica. Jeremy should get over his family problems and spend more time with Jess - more like a couple. I hope Will and Melissa will really break up. Will should not take back Melissa just because she has tried to kill herself, since she is so mean and horrible.

This is a great book. I don't use to like the Senior Year series but I think the books are getting more interesting. This is one of the best ones and I rate it '4 out of 5'.

Summary: Sixth Book in the SVH: Senior Year Series
Review: There are some major relationship changes in "Your Basic Nightmare". For starters, the most complicated one occurs between Will Simmons and Melissa Fox. When he breaks up with her, she basically falls apart under the stress of what other people will think of her--and worse, that Jessica Wakefield will swoop in on her ex now that he's a "free man". However, Melissa couldn't be further from the truth, especially since Jessica has made it perfectly clear to Will she doesn't want anything to do with him.

Will isn't the only guy to fall on Jessica's bad side, though. There's also Jeremy Aames, who Jessica believes has been avoiding her since the humiliating party scene in "If You Only Knew" (#5). She doesn't know, however, that Jeremy's recent absence is the result of his father's heart attack. Their lack of communication--and Jess's wild imagination--blows everything out of proportion.

And then there's the matter of the most mismatched couple ever--Conner McDermott and Elizabeth Wakefield. I must say, at the beginning of this series, I found their love/hate squabbles pretty amusing, but now that Conner's true nature has emerged, I seriously doubt these two will ever have a workable future. I mean, while he and Liz are still playing tonsil-hockey (with no strings attached, of course), Liz is trying to keep it a secret from his ex, Maria Slater (even though Maria's starting to suspect something), but Conner seemed intent on having Maria catch them. Whether he wanted to make her jealous or not, I don't know, but this book really shed some light on the "real" Conner. Apparently, he has no regard for other people's feelings. Liz had better get some sense into that fuzzy blonde head of hers before Conner seriously takes her for a ride and she ends up losing Maria for good as a friend. Sexy or not, Conner is not worth it (which just so happens to be his own motto on every girl he's been with, including Liz).

"Your Basic Nightmare" is the sixth book in the Sweet Valley High: Senior Year series. Worth checking out if you're into teen romances and enjoy Sweet Valley books.

Summary: It's good
Review: I'm happy that Liz and Conner are 2gether. I like the idea of them. As for Maria she like a real teen. It takes time to get over a guy you really like. But she really needs to move on. She should have guessed that Conner and liz liked each other. Hate is confused love. They hated each other in book 1 and now they love each other. That's no surprise cuz I knew they were gonna end up 2gether. As for Melissa. I really hate her. I don't see how she ccould forgive Will. He lied to Jess, cheated and then lied again. He's a nice guy but a real jerk.I wish he would just tell the truth. Cuz Jessica doesn't deserve to be treated like a slut.

Summary: Good but just a comment...
Review: This is one of the best books of the series. I love the Conner-Liz thing. However... I just wanted to point out, I think in this book something like Maria and Liz go into the Riot and laugh as Tia pull them into the crowd. It's something like "Liz laughed then coughed at the second hand smoke." Smoking's been outlawed in California bars for a while. Just a comment.
