Rating: Summary: The Awakening Review: Stephan is the new guy at school (did i mention he sounds HOT?). Elena vows to have him at ANY cost. You know, wrapped around her little FINGER? But, Stephan seems to avoid her like the plague. Elena reminds Stephan TOO much of his ex-crush Katherine. But, somehow, Elena is different than Katherine. Stronger. Independant. But, one thing he doesn't know howto tell her is: he's a vampire. Damon (who i think sounds hotter than Stephan...but then again i have this thing with bad boys...) wants whatever his brother has. That included Katherine back in Italy, and it includes Elena now. TERRIFIC first book. Eyes nailed to the page the whole time...ESPECIALLY when they described Stephan and Damon...yummy.
Rating: Summary: The Best Book I have ever read, beyond magnificent! Review: This was a wonderful book, a romance, horror, drama all combined in one. I could not put it down and after this i had to read the 2nd one then the 3rd then the 4th. They were all the best. In this first book it is about a popular beautiful high school student named Elena who thought she had it all until she saw Stefan who is a handsom and mysterious new student. Elena and Stefan eventually become a couple and fall in love. But Stefan has a secret past and a very big secret which Elena soon finds out. Elena does not let the secret keep her away from Stefan though. Soon she finds out that he has an evil brother named Damon who has something very in common with Stefan. Even though Elena loves Stefan she finds herself a little bit attracted to Damon... I dont want to give any more of the book away but i will just say you should defnilty get it. This author and this series are wonderful! I give 5 stars!
Rating: Summary: I loved this book Review: Although it's been a while since I've read this book, I loved reading it so much I read it and the whole series several times. It was absolutly fantastic! I don't have the series anymore, but I'm going to get it again and reread them. These and the Secret Circle. All fabulous!
Rating: Summary: Great Vamp Romance Review: I could not put this book down. It was great. The story was a little unbelievable even for a vampire story. The book was still good though. It had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I couldn't wait to finish it. The story is about two brother vampires, one weak and one strong, and a human girl who falls in love with the weak vampire. I can't wait to read the next book.
Rating: Summary: NOT A LOVE TRIANGLE Review: The back of this book is totally rong. It is not a love triangle Ellna loves Stefan and vice-versa Damon just wants to annoy his little brother. so you have know idea what I mean? read this book 'cause the back is wrong!
Rating: Summary: Great Book! Review: I read this book several years ago. I could not put the book down, before I knew it it was 5am, I had to pry the book from my fingers to get some sleep. I liked it so much I wound up buying the whole set a couple years later. It's a wonderful romance, thriller, and horror. One of my all time favorite books, along with the rest of the series.
Rating: Summary: Best series ever Review: This was the first L.J.Smith I ever read, and having done am now hooked. It all starts when Elena is given a strange prophecy by one of her friends, and then that prophecy coming true when Stephen turns up. Elena vows to get Stephen to go out with her, and after several attempts manages to do just that. However, she soon finds out about Stephen's dark side (him being a vampire). The struggles still arise for the couple as Stephen's demonic brother Damon turns up intend on winning Elena over to his side, but only time will tell. The book does end in a cliffhanger, so if you buy this book, I would advise buying all the books in series, as once you start you will not find it easy to put it down.
Rating: Summary: What I Thought Review: I have read all of the books in the Vampire Diaries series, and I'd just like to say that they are the best books that I've ever read! Very compelling and edge-of-the-seat material. I read the first two in the series while I was at summer camp, and I couldn't put them down. For the rest of the summer, I tore apart every bookshop in the Adirondacks trying to find the last 2 in the series. (I never did find them there!) I ended up having to order them to be shipped. I highly recommend this series to anyone that likes reading about out-of-the-ordinary romances, with lots of adventure. I am hooked! The funny thing is, I felt like I identified with one of the characters. (Bonnie) This made the reading even more interesting! Unfortunately, I've lost my copies of them in a move, and I am frantically searching for them again. A standing ovation to LJ Smith for writing this series. Keep them coming!
Rating: Summary: Vampire Diaries Review Review: This review actually covers all the books in the Vampire Diaries series. I read them when they first came out ten years ago and loved them so much that I wrote to LJ Smith, who had the time back then to write back to me personally and tell me what my letter meant to her. This is one of the few stories around today that cover so many different aspects: love, adventure, horror, and even humor too. In my opinion it's a modern day fairy tale complete with villans, heroines, rescues and escapes. Take the time to read it and you probably won't be able to forget it. Unlike so many book today the characters are completely developed, and often surprise you when they serve more than their stereotypical purpose. In short, buy this book!!!
Rating: Summary: I loved it so much I read it in one night. Review: Elena is the most popular girl in school, so you think it'd be hard to like her, but it's not! And Stephen? The more you learn about him the more you fall in love with him. If you like fantastical teen romance then READ THIS BOOK! If you've never read a book by L.J. Smith, this is a good place to start. She is the best author and this book begins a great trilogy/series. Look for all other books by her because they are the absolute best.
