Review: Far North was a great book. I've read ghost canoe but this isjust great. I like the way Will Hobbs' books are so adventurous. I like this book so much I got in trouble reading it. You should go to your local library and check this book out!

Review: Far North, an action adventure novel, was filled with many trials and tribulations. Gabe, the main character, is up at boarding school to be near his father who is working up there because of a diamond boom. But what Gabe doesnt realize is that not only will it be a struggle for him to fit in........but a struggle to survive.

Review: I absaloutely loved this book!!! It is the best book I've read in at least 3 years, I love the excitment and danger in this book!!! When I started reading it, I couldn't put it down!:) ;)

Review: I like the book because it was about two modern boys in the wilderness trying to survive but what I did not like was that Hobbs describes everything I don't like that.

Review: I love this book. It is the best outdoor adventure I've ever read. You will like it, trust me. Most adventures that have this kind of idea (a plne crash strands you in the wild, miles from civilization) are unrealistic, but this one rocks! Anyone that knows how to read will love this book!

Summary: Impossible to set down!
Review: I plan to use this book in my sixth grade classroom. I found Far North a wonderful integration piece. I had a few of my students take copies home and give me their opinion. We had already read Frozen Fire so there was something to compare. All of them finished over the weekend and said it was "Fabulous!", and " . . . more enjoyable than Frozen Fire. I would love a response from those who have used this book in their classroom.

Review: I read this book only a few days ago. Full of cliff hangers, Litterally. Two young boys and a dene get the adventure of their lives when they crash near the virgina falls, and have to spend the winter by the nahanni river. A book for anyone, girl or boy. a book full to the cover with emotions.

Review: I recently read Far North for a book report assignment for school. I chose this book because I like Canada. I could not put this book down. It is such an exciting adventure story, and I would recommend this book for anyone who likes wilderness adventures. (Ryan Groth, age 14)
