Summary: The Frigid Voyage Between Life and Death
Review: Do you like adventure storys? The thrill of not knowing if the characters will survive or whos next? Then this book is great for you. Far North by Will Hobbs is one of the best adventure books I ever read. Imagine you are a young Texas boy used to the heat who moves to Canada where it dets to 60 below zero. You just started school and you sort of became friends with your room mate. You decide to go on a bush pilot flight and you find the flight you will have fun on is the flight your friend and his uncle are going home on. Now your plane crashes and the pilot dies. You only have the emergency food, an old man, and your selves to survive. The old man who was a great help dies of a heart attack. You and your friend are on your own. The food you got hunting is stolen by mother nature. You and your friend get hurt. However you can walk. You are out of ammo for the gun. Your only choice is to walk to the nearest village at the Nahanni Bute and that is not that close. Will you survive? I highly recomend this book for people who like adventure and the curiosity of what will happen next.

Review: Does Raymond and Gabes friendship change throughout the book Far North? This novel is a great example of a fascinating book that shows how friendship can endure extreme conditions and overcome anything. Raymond and Gabe are two average teenagers who are suddenly put in a very hostile environment and are forced to either learn to live or die. In the process of learning to stay alive, Raymond and Gabe have to learn to trust each other and put each others lives and souls in each others hands. Will Hobbs writes this story of friendship and bonding masterfully. If you want a book with adventure and companionship, this is the book for you.

Summary: Page-Turner for Kids AND Adults
Review: Even though you know from the get-go that the narrator must have survived, this is the type of tale where you start worrying that the narrators are about to drown in icy waters or get eaten by grizzlys. Dinner was a tad late getting on the table the night I picked this up. :-)My 8 year old daughter, fresh from reading "My Side of the Mountain," plodded through the beginning chapters, but by the time the float plane goes over the falls, she was hooked.

Review: Far North by Will Hobbs is a breath taking book that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The story is about a boy named gabe who finds himself in the midst of the deep forests of Canida with his roomate and his roomate's great grandfather.In his journey he learns about many diffrent cultures and he has to accomplish both mental and phisical challenages.

Review: Far North by Will Hobbs is one of the best adventure stories that I have read. It is an exciting story of two kids named Raymond and Gabriel trying to survive in 60 below weather after the buch plane they were on crashes. All that they have to survive is emergency food, an old man named Johnny Raven, and three shots for a rifle Johnny Raven dies. The boys hard earned moose is taken from them by mother nature. The boys then get hurrt. Gabe not as bad as Raymond. Gabe can walk and Raymond can't. Gabe must pull Raymond to the nearest village and Raymonds hometown. Will they survive?

Review: Far North is a exellent book to read. When they land on the water and are headed for a waterfall. The plane stop and won't start. Most of the members make it out save. Thet have a gun and three bullets. They shoot a moose but when they try and raft down a river they lose most of the moose. They have to shoot a moose. with two bullets left can they. The old moose hunter goes out and dose not come back so they look for him is he lost or is he dead...

Review: Far North is a great book for beginners as well as adults.The book is about 3 people(2 16 year olds and 1 old man)who are caught in the northwest territories and must survive on their wits as well as Johny Raven,the Indian about 70 years of age.I dont want to give the book away but it is very good and should entertain you for awhile.

Review: Far North is a great book. It is full of thrilling action and survival. For anybody looking for a survival book or adventure novel, this is the book you want. It teaches you the quality of friendship and stamina. I would give this book fives stars any day and would recomend it to anyone, any place. Far North is a about two young men and an older guy who get into a plane crash. They learn how to survive from the older man, named Johnny Raven, who knows how. They have to join toghether and protect eachother in a harsh Canadian winter. This book is absolutely wonderful, and I believe most people who read will think so too.

Review: Far north is by far the best book i have ever read. Every time i read it, which is at least 8 times, it makes me want to go find that cabin and hunt elk. A must read for anyone who likes adventure.

Review: FAR NORTH IS ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I HAVE READ I HAVE ALSO READ GHOST CANOE AND IT WAS PROBABLY AS GOOD ,I LIKED IT HOW THEY MANAGED TO SURVIVE AFTER THE OLD MAN DIED,BUT I DIDN'T REALY UNDERSTAND THE ENDING.
