Summary: Todd Strasser does it again!
Review: Author Todd Strasser has done it again. He has told us another story about a student who switches bodies with another person, that is. In this case, a VAMPIRE! Without giving any plot points away, all I can say is the new vampire, Jake, is in a lot of trouble. After all if you were a vampire and got a chance to be a kid again, would YOU want to swap back to your old vampire body again. But at least it makes a great costume for his Halloween party!

The one bad thing about this book is that is is somewhat familiar to anyone who has read one of the other books in the series. Jake gets stuck in someone else's body and must get it back. How many times can this really happen, Mr Strasser? Why not at least let the machine fall into the hands of someone else for a while... say a girl from another school. Still you deserve credit for making each book a little different and always a good reading experience for people of all ages who like fantastic fiction! As usual, this latest in the series is worth reading if you enjoyed the others!

Summary: Jake has now switched bodies with a vampire...
Review: Everyone is suspicious of Vlad, the new, pale, custodian. The DITS (Dirksen Intelligence Transfer System [It makes people switch bodies, but it's supposed to just transfer their intelligence levels; created by a guy with the last name of Dirksen]) malfunctions near Vlad, and when Jake's wakes up the next day- he's got a pale face and fangs. Jake uses a sunscreen to make his face look noraml. How will he ever fix this mess?

Summary: THIS BOOK ROCKS!
Review: i loooove this book i think it's the best in the series! it's about Jake becoming a vampire, duh. i think the plot was kind of lame but the snappy dialogue exchanged with the characters is hilarious. my favorite scenes are: 'a gostly howl suddenly came from the woods'....'what was that?' [etc etc] 'maybe it was a fox.' 'that's not what a fox sounds like'.....'what does a fox do then' 'i dunno, maybe they sing'....'that wasn't a bat! that thing was the size of a goose' 'maybe it was a bat goose' 'or a goose bat' [i'm only briefly summarizing.] plus, a new character is introduced that adds a hilarious touch to the book!

Summary: 13 year old advanced reader.
Review: I personally thought this book STUNK! My older brother who is 15 (and in my opinion should by now be reading more advanced books) enjoyed this book ver much and has the whole series. But if your more like me you should probably stick with Lord of the rings and such. The author is deffinaly generated towards people around the age of 7 and 10!
