Summary: fairly good book
Review: Brian is a boy who is flying over the Canadian wilderness to vist his dad. Then the pilot has a massive heart attack and the plane is forced to do a crash landing. Brian knows that if he hits any trees it well tare the plane apart. So he crashes in a lake. Now he is forced to survive with just a hatchet.
Overall I think it is a fairly good book for reading good old reading class.

Review: This book was great. I liked the book because it was interesting to read how he survived in the wild and learned how to live and survive live of the land for months. I also enjoyed his other books about Brian. I am looking foward to reading any other books he writes. I give this book five stars. I recomend this book for ages 9-99. Any one who can read will enjoy this.

Review: I think this book was a great story because it had a lot of adventure and it was very exciting.The best part of the story to me was when the boy learned how to survive by his self in the woods. The boy was on his way to go see his dad on a plane when the pilot had a stroke while he was flying and the plane had went down and crashed.That is why I liked this story.

Review: I think it was a great book because of the excitement of being in the wilderness. Maybe because he knew that his mother was cheating on his father.Maybe it was because the plane crashed to leave him all alone in the forests of Canada. Maybe it was just because of the struggle he faced to live on his own. Maybe it was the fight he maintained to live and to have the courage to continue to proceed on.

Review: This is a really good book. We read it in class, and just about everybody loved it. Gary Paulsen puts so much detail in his books that you can picture Brian's adventure perfectaly. I suggest this book for just about everyone.

Review: I first read this book in 6th (or 7th grade). I liked it at the time, it was pretty good. I'd recomend this to anyone looking for a pretty good book for either entertainment or book report.
