Summary: I've read it over and over again
Review: I enjoyed this book so much I've recommended it to all my friends. It has everything you could want in a book: romance, action, a more thought provoking serious side, and oh yeah, did I mention romance? After a while you even begin to think like the "cult" and see it from their point of view...but in the end the two main character, Marina and Jed, the only two who didn't go with the flow realize that they have gained a greater understanding of themselves.

Summary: cults and love?
Review: the plot of this story is very sketchy. it goes from the boy and dealing with his absent minded father and his point of veiw. then to the girl and her father leaving the family when the mother takes them to the mountain top. and then to the love that slowly grew between them without their notice and with both parents trying to interfear and prevent it. i can honestly say that i could have gone without reading this book. i was dissapointed after reading the dragon's blood trilogy then going to this. i was expecting more from her(and in my opinion, rightly so!) and was shocked at how the story progressed. i hope her next books are better planed and written!

Summary: captivating...
Review: This book was an example of writing at its best. Jane Yolen and Bruce Coville put together a book that touches every part of our conscious mind. The book toys around with our beliefs and our worries about the end of the world, and gets us involved in a love story of the most innocent kind. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Summary: Hot!
Review: This was a good book, of course that doesn't say much, since Isay that about every book! This was not the best book I have read, butit is okay. Of course there were a few problems, first of all it had too much to do with religious freaks - that was practilly what the book was about. Second, there wasn't enough of Jed and Marina being together, I mean yea they kissed on the cheak, but big deal. When I got the book I really expected something different, but beggers can't be choosers, so oh well.

Summary: Great book, good discription.
Review: I thought this book was great. I think it was cool how theauthors took turns writting each chapter. I think if they made a moviehopefully would be good. But i would recommened this book to anyone who needs a book to read for school.

Summary: Funny, interesting, and a real "Catcher"
Review: This book was pretty cool. Once I picked it up, I really couldn't put it down(Except when the bell rang and I had to dash to the next class, that is.) There are two main characters, Jed and Marina. They are stuck up on a mountain, because their parent(s) belong to a nutty religious cult that believes that the world is going to end, and that the only way to be saved is to be on a certain mountain. It is written through the eyes of Jed and Marina(IE one chapter says "Jed", and the next says "Marina", and they explain the same thing, but through 2 different perspectives). It's really fun to read! Between Jed's humor and Marina's family problems, it is easy to stay into this book. It's great for about anyone 14 and older to read(anyone younger might not understand some of the parts). All in all, it kicks, so ya need to check it out!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Exciting Plot & Great Writing Style
Review: Jed and Marina are believable characters with interesting insights. The plot keeps you excited and curious the whole time. A great book I highly recommend.
