Summary: a light, easy read
Review: This is just a nice little book that you can read though in an evening ... I like Nicholas Sparks books for that reason. Nothing heavy or too involved. The characters were likable/real ... the ending did a little twist that I did not expect ... I thought it would go another way. Definitely worth your time though.

Summary: A walk to remember
Review: A walk to remember is a wonderful book! I read the books "The Notebook" and "Message in a bottle" too. I love all 3 books. Nicaholas Sparks way of describing feelings is so fascinating! I can only say to you all: READ THIS BOOK, it's wonderful!

Summary: And Remember and Remember
Review: A Walk to Remember is truly that. I have read Notebook and Message In A Bottle and loved both, but I believe Nicholas Sparks has surpassed those with this new book. Was first interested in reading the book because of living in NC and loving prior books; however, once you start reading, it is very hard to put down. Covering the thoughts and desires of a high school boy coming of age and finding true love and questioning God and his relationship with Him. I was in tears by the time I finished reading.

Summary: A Walk for All Ages
Review: I found this book entertaining and enlightening. I found it enjoyable for people of all ages. I think teens as well as adults would benefit from this novel. The book's complexity between the topics of God, forgiveness, spirituality, friendship, brotherhood, and kindness make this novel a good choice for the whole family. A Walk to Remember reads like a conversation. The main character tells us of how because of his relationship with this young girl during his senior year in high school, he grew to be a kinder, more mature, respectful, and compassionate human being by the time he graduated from high school. This book is a prime example of the unexpected twists and turns that life throws at us and makes us think of whether we are going to fold or roll with the punches.

Summary: This book was one of the best I've read yet.
Review: I've never read any of Nicolas Sparks books before, and wasn't to happy about having to read this one for a book report. But within no time I was drawn in by the witty character of Landon. Then with the love story that began to unfold, I found myself unable to put the book down. True, the story does have a sad ending, but it leaves you with a heart warming lessen in love and life that you will never forget. If I can give you one peace of advice, it would be to take the chance and read this book!

Summary: Don't waste your time
Review: This will be the last Nicholas Sparks I read. I am tired of sappy, predictable stories with no literary value. Please, Mr. Sparks, get some different story lines........instead of simply changing names, locations, etc.

Summary: IT WAS GOOD BUT NOT ONE I WOULD RECOMMEND
Review: I'M SORRY IF MOST OF YOU LIKED THIS BOOK. BUT LETS GET IT STRAIGHT OKAY. I'M A 19 YEAR OLD GIRL AND I LOVED MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE TOTALLY MELTED MY HEART -- HAVEN'T GOTTEN AROUND TO THE NOTEBOOK YET. ANYHOW MY POINT-- TO ANYONE WHO HAS EVER READ ANY OF NICHOLAS SPARKS' BOOKS THEN YOU WILL KNOW WHAT I AM SAYING WHEN I SAY THAT YEAH HE HAS A GREAT STORY IT'S FLOWING PRETTY GOOD AND THEN BAM AT THE END HE JUST LEAVES YOU HANGING -- NO HAPPY ENDING-- JUST DEATH AND MOURNING. IT MAKES YOU FEEL KIND OF MORBID I GUESS YOU COULD SAY WITHA TEAR IN YOUR EYE. I'M NOT OLD FASHIONED OR ANYTHING OR LIKE THE WHOLE FAIRY TALE THING. BUT DON'T YOU THING THAT IT WOULD BE NICE TO ACTUALLY PICK UP A BOOK AND NOT FEEL EMPTY AND MORBID AFTER YOU'VE READ IT? IF ANY OF YOU KNOW ANY BOOK LIKE THAT PLEASE LET ME KNOW BUT FAIR WARNING ABOUT THIS BOOK.

Summary: A Walk To Remember
Review: This book hit home with me. It was funny, warm, heartbreaking, and tearful. As with all of Nicholas Sparks books I could not lay it down until I finished it.

Summary: Loved the notebook....walk to forget?
Review: Sigh....looks like a late ditch effort to get a book out before the holidays to pay for the family boat. I loved 'The Notebook'. This pales in comparison. Believe me, borrow a copy from a friend if you're curious. Hope this is not a trend....

Summary: A Book to Remember
Review: What a wonderful and compassionate novel! Once again Mr. Sparks, you have amazed me. The story line is very different from Mr. Sparks' other two novels, and yet, just as compelling. It reminds each of us about love and the importance of kindness to all. Anyone who is looking for a well-written and enjoyable novel, I strongly recommend A Walk to Remember.
