Summary: Poignant and touching
Review: This book was a choice experience that I would recommend to anyone. Seldom have I been so touched and warmed by a book. It portrays what life should be all about.

Summary: Unexpectedly disappointed....
Review: Having read The Notebook and Message in a Bottle, I was expecting Sparks to deliver another novel that would be equally captivating in storyline. A Walk to Remember was a big disappoint for me, in the sense that it ended so abruptly. The opening of the story was intriguing, but the last 30 pages seemed like an attempt to just quickly end the story. For that reason, it has left a taste of disappointment in my mouth.....

Summary: A Wonderful Story
Review: A Walk to Remember is one of the best books I have read in a long time. It is such a touching love story. I don't think I have ever laughed and cried so hard all during the same story. I could feel Landon's love for Jamie and his grief at the thought of losing her. However, he transforms that grief into unending love. I would definately recommend this book to everyone!

Summary: The Best Book Ive ever read!
Review: I read this excpecting it to be just another book with the trite boy meets girl story line. Boy was i surprised. once i opened it i could not put it down and read it all in one night. As promised, i laughed throughout the book and eventually had tears streaming down my face! i could not stop crying for hours afterward! i raved so much about this magnificent work that my entire family read it within a week after!

Summary: Amazingly Great Book
Review: My mom bought this book for me as a Christmas present. She had read Message in a Bottle, and loved it. So I was expecting a good book. But this book exceeded my expectations. It was excellent. Maybe I enjoyed it so much because I am almost 17 myself, and I can identify to being that age, even though it was set in the 1950's. But it was just one of those books that you can't put down. And I loved the ending. It is very ambiguous, and I know which ending I would love to believe and which one I am leaning towards, but still... it's sketchy because of the details. And I really haven't decided which one I completely support yet. Still, I would suggest this book to anyone, especially those who may be a little down on themselves. This book leaves you thinking, as well as truly making you thankful for what you have.

Summary: One of the most touching stories ever written...
Review: In true nature of Nicholas Sparks, this story is very touching and heartfelt. It will make you laugh, it will make you mad, and it will make you cry. Most of all the twists and turns of the plot will surprise you. I recommend this book for any avid reader, young or old.

Summary: The real miracle
Review: I am a librarian and have suggested this book to anyone that walks in. Nicholas Sparks is a true master of the heart and soul. Many may feel empty and morbid afterward (according to the reviews seen here). I have never felt anything but up-lifted and feel a renewal in the nature of man-kind after a weekend with a Nicholas Sparks book. Perhaps the happy ending would be that she lived. That would have been nice. I don't think the Lord works quite that way. We here agree that the miracle was the fact that it took her death to save him and his soul. His path to what to do with his life was through her. He never regretted his decision to marry her. And to honor her for giving him his life, he devoted his heart to her memory.

Summary: Another Brilliant Book By Sparks
Review: I don't know what book some of the other reviewers read because I'll always remember the walk. Instead of spoon-feeding the reader the ending of the book, Sparks allows you your own interpretation of the facts which makes it even more intriguing. I just finished the book at 2 a.m. this morning and can't decide which ending I believe. I know the one I want to believe, but Landon's looking up to the sky at the end makes me have my doubts, and what he said about the ring makes me a little uneasy too. I'm just not sure what "the miracle" was. I don't wanna give it away, but you've GOT to read it! It will enrich your soul. It takes a lot to get my emotions flowing, but Sparks gives a lot. Those cynics who don't like it are lacking in the soul department. He gets an A+ in my book.
