Rating: Summary: Review on A WALK TO REMEMBER. Review: A WALK TO REMEMBER was a really good book. It is about a boy named Landon who is seventeen, and doesnt care about any of his responsibilities. The only thing he cares about is hanging out with his friends. Until he is asked to be in a Christmas play with a girl named Jamie Sullivan. No one really cares for Jamie until Landon realizes what she is really like. Soon he starts to fall in love with her, but finds out she is sick, and dying. I am thirteen, and I could understand what the characters were going through during the whole story. I couldnt put it down. I think that if you are into romance, and like to read it is a really good book for you.
Rating: Summary: Torn between liking it and being ashamed that I liked it!!! Review: I'll admit that this book made me cry and Sparks succeeded in bringing Landon and Jamie's characters to life. It was, however, incredibly predictable and overly mushy. Even the supposedly unusual ending was obvious. I gave it 3 stars because it was well-written and evoked emotion, but it was kind of cliched and not really very exciting to read. It's a good book to read in the winter when you're sitting by the fire and have an hour or two to spare, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone over the age of 25. Also, it's definitely not a book that a guy would enjoy.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Review: I loved this book. This is the first book I've ever read that made me cry. It was such a sweet story and it was very clean. I have read all of the books from this author and this is by far the best. You have to read this book.
Rating: Summary: AMAZIN! Review: THIS BOOK IS AMAZING! I read it all the other night in a few hours because I could not put it down.I recommend this book to everyone who likes a tear jerker/ love story, or any type of book for that matter. The way Sparks just writes the book is spectacular, it's almost as if you can hear the bells ringing and smell the smells he is describing. Like you were there taking a glimpse of Landon Carter's life.
Rating: Summary: A heart-felt story Review: At first glance you think this a is story about teenage love. But as you read on, you come to see that Landon and Jamie are no ordinary teenagers. Upon first impression, Jamie seems to be a bit of a recluse and anti-social. But Nicholas Sparks has a way of revealing what's beneath the surface of this young woman's character, a theme that has become his trademark in all his novels. In this book, one comes to see that Jamie is wise beyond her years, her strong faith withstanding. Landon is conflicted with teen peer pressure as his feelings for Jamie become increasingly endearing with each passing day. "A Walk to Remember" could also be entitled "A Gift to Remember". As you read on through the ending, you will see why. Have tissues in hand while reading this book.
Rating: Summary: Awesome Book Review: This is a very good book. A Lot of books I read are very dissapointing, but this one won't let you down. I thought it was a very sad book and I am still puzzled over the ending. If you are even considering it you should go ahead and buy it.

Rating: Summary: A Walk To Remember Review: I'm a 46 year old male teacher at an all boys Catholic high school and was given the book by a parent of a student. It was an easy read, it took me only three nights. I was deeply moved by this book. I don't know if it would have the same affect on high school students as it did with me but I want to try it with them. Nicholas Sparks is able to draw the reader into the love of God as well as anyone. It brought tears to my eyes. It's a great Christmas story!
Rating: Summary: what a good book Review: I have just finished reading this book and all I can say is- what a good book. I was hooked at the prologue and couldn't put it down until I had read every page. I am not an emotional person by nature but just as the author warns in the prologue- I smiled then I cried. This is definately a chick book and I guess the ending could be deemed a little hokey especially for a 17 year old to come to such a conclusion and I think, too, that Jamie might have been just a little too pious to be true, but I don't care. This was a great little book and I'm glad I read it.
