Summary: Predictable, but Cute
Review: I have to admit: It's not the most spellbinding book around, and it's not the most original plot, but it's a wonderful book. Jamie's character has a way of making you want to be a good person, and Landon's character isn't exactly the typical teenage boy, but he has that kind of charm that makes you wish there was someone like that out there somewhere. The book has a real spirit of first love and good will to it. It may not have been a masterpiece, but it's sure to touch your heart in the perfect way.

Summary: a book to remember
Review: Jamie was the daughter of a Baptist minister and Landon was the son of a Congressman. They came from two total different sides of town, and two totally different families but something happened their senior year that made all the difference. This is the story of their senior year, and it is told by Landon as an older man. He reflects on his senior year as the one that changed him, but all for the better. This book has been made into a motion picture which will be released to theaters on January 25th and is honestly, one of the best books I've ever read. It's truly, a book to remember.

Summary: Great book!
Review: This book is definately worth reading. I would recommend it to all of you. I read it all in one day because I just couldn't put it down. Don't forget your box of tissues, you'll need them, but it will all be worth it in the end.

Summary: What A Wonderful Book
Review: My friends and I all wanted to read this book before we go to see the movie, and every friend of mine that has read it has read it within a few hours! It is such a wonderful book, none of us could put it down! True, the main story is rather predictable, but it's the little surprises thrown in that kept me interested. I have never laughed out loud during a book, nor have I ever cried as much during a book that I did this one. You become truly engrossed in the entire story. I can only hope that the movie will be as good as the book was! I know I'll return to read this book again, and I strongly reccommend it to anyone looking for a good book to curl up and read!

Summary: Tragic Twist...
Review: A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks is a excellent book for any young or adult reader. It's one of those books that you can't absolutely put down! Infact, I finished it in less than two days and I'm the least likely person who would EVER finish a book. The book is about two opposite people falling in love. Landon Carter is your typical teenage boy just looking for fun, always joking and hanging out with his friends. Jaime Sullivan plays the minister's daughter who is sweet to everyone and everything. She gets teased very often, but all that doesn't matter to her. Landon falls in love with Jaime and they go through some hardships towards the end. My advice when reading this book, get a tissue. Enough said.

Summary: Touching
Review: Jamie Sullivan is the type of girl guys tend to stay away from. She's strange (carrying a bible wherever she goes), and her father's the minister of a church that almost the whole town goes to. But 17-year-old Landon sees a real person in her, and falls in love.

This is an enormously touching book. It deals with tragedy, triumph, and teaches a real lesson about love and life. I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a classic work of fiction by a great new author. And of course, if you're going to see the movie.

Summary: A really good read.
Review: I really liked this book, it was a good read, kind of short but it was exactly the type of book that I like - romantic and sweet and it also made me laugh. However, it made me cry too. Just like the prologue says, the book will make you laugh and cry. I've never read anything by this author before but after reading this, I'm definately going to read more by Nicholas Sparks. I'm not certain what to make of the ending though. I liked it but .. I'm not sure that I interpreted it correctly. Then again, I don't want to spoil the book for anyone.. so I'm not going to say anymore. : ) I wonder if the movie will be any good.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: So Predictable but Still Good
Review: This is not "Message in a Bottle," but I still found this a good read. Not lengthy, a simple love story as seen thru the eyes of a 17-year-old boy. Makes you laugh, makes you cry. What more could you ask for?
