Summary: A superb novel that changed me forever
Review: Sometimes, you come across a book that is not only unforgettable, but that actually changes the way you look at the things of life. It did happen to me with biographies and essays, but never before with a novel. This book is not only the most pure and delicate love story I have ever read, but through Jamie's wonderful character, it made me understand for the first time, in all its beauty and majesty, what God had in mind when He created the woman. I think I have fallen in love with the character of a novel...

Summary: a walk to remember: touching story
Review: A walk to remember seems to be one of those heart touching love stories, where everything seems to fall in place in the end of the book. However, when you start reading it and finish it you will be guaranteed touched by this story that Nicholas Sparks wrote. Some parts of the story people can really relate to and other parts are just unexpected.
Landon Carter recalls his best summer ever in his life back in 1958 when he was 17. His character is just like any other young teenage guy, one who wishes to be popular and a jock and have all the cheerleaders line up after them. However, Landon does not play on the school football team, nor does he have cheerleaders line up after him. Instead during his senior year Landon decided to run for student body president and also join the school drama. Through this period of drama classes and other social activities, he meets the most unexpected girl ever. The town bishop¡¦s daughter Jamie, she teaches Landon so many things about life. Which allowed him to not just fall in love with her, but to realize the things that are important in life that he had been ignoring all this time. Through all these fun times they have, Jamie spills the big problem and Landon¡¦s whole world falls apart.
The whole situation with Jamie¡¦s big problem resulted to a lot of sympathy amongst the townspeople. Through this Nicholas Sparks tries to tell us that we should cherish every moment in life. Don¡¦t wait till the last minute till you realize you¡¦ve wasted some, you should think that every moment in your life is something special and shouldn¡¦t be forgotten.
I really enjoyed this book; I read it in one day. I usually don¡¦t read books nor do I read them in one day! So I was really surprised that I was so into it that I finished it in one day. Even though a lot of the commentaries say that the book will make you ball when you¡¦re done reading. I didn¡¦t although I found it very touching. It¡¦s a little to good to be true. After reading this book, I really wish the movie were out in Taiwan so I can watch it. I think I¡¦m going to go buy some other books written by Nicholas Sparks, I like the way he write his books. It¡¦s realistic and yet many parts are unexpected!

Summary: Wow!
Review: I first read this book when my friend lent it to me about a year ago; I read it all at once and I cried for a half-an-hour after I finished it! I almost stopped reading at the end of the first chapter because it seemed like all the book was was endless details about the town, people, etc. I'm sooooooo glad I didn't because this is a book about the truest and purest love two people could have; however, it's not sicky sweet, either. I finally saw the movie as well, (if I'd seen the movie first, I probably wouldn't have read the book) but it was hardly anything like the book (however, I still loved it because of Shane West------wow-type, hottie!). I'm afraid that people won't read the book, now, because the movie was so goody sweet (I was almost gagging at the end--except for Mr. West:), but the book isn't like that at all and only gets a little mushy at the end, so READ THIS BOOK! Have the hankies ready!

Summary: Tragic
Review: This was an excellent book, but I read it after I saw the movie,
it is much more different from the book. The characters descriptions and the setting are different. The end of both the book and the movie were very sad.

Summary: A Walk to Remember
Review: A seventeen year old boy named Landon Carter is asked by Jamie Sullivan to join the schoolplay. Landon can't say no so he decides to join. Jamie is one of those girls who helps everyone and everything. All the adults love her but at school nobody pays any attention to her. Landon is casts the lead in the school in the school play and Jamie is the angel. He needs alittle help on his lines and asks Jamie. She agrees as long as he doesn't fall n love with her. He agrees because he thinks this will never happen.During the play Jamie looks beautiful and that is when Landon realizes he is falling in love with Jamie. But, then something tragic happens.
I liked this book because it's very different from the movie. I like the details that they show in the book and how they begin to fall in love with each other. Also that I always wanted to read more and more. It was a good book because it sometimes made you want to cry and other times make you so happy.
My favorite part in the book was when he said he wouldn't fall in love with her. But, he does fall in love with her and they spend all their time together. Landon doesn't care what his friends think and isn't afraid to go out with her. She starts to have the same feelings for him. Her father the minister isn't so sure about it.

Summary: A Book that will hold a place in your heart forever!
Review: When I first began to read this book, I assumed that it would be another sappy teenager love novel. But I did one thing wrong, I assumed. If there is one thing this book tought me, it is not to assume things about people that you don't really know. A loving story about love, pain, and grief, that will touch your heart. As bad-boy Landon falls for the minister's daughter, Jamie, he learns so many new things. But most of all, he learns how to love, and look on the inside. Sadly, with a tearjerking ending, Landon must also learn to say goodbye. A book that you will never forget, and a book that will never get old, you will surely love it!

Summary: A Walk to Remeber: A Romantic Tragedy
Review: Every April, Landon Carter always remembers the last year in Beaufort High School. It was 1958, when he dated a girl or two and even admitted he had been in love. But the last person he could ever fall in love with is Jamie Sullivan, the daughter of the town's Baptist minister. She was a quiet girl who carried her Holy Bible along with her shcool books daily. She seemed to be content living in a world different from the other teens. She was so innocent and certainly no boy ever asked her out. Landon would never dream to go out with Jamie. When the homecoming dance arrived, Jamie was asked by Landon and and that moment had changed Landon's life forever. Being with Jamie showed him the depths of a human's heart and lead him to a road so stunning that it would right away send him to manhood. To me this book was a unforgettable novel that tells a relationship about two couples has an everlasting love that nobody can break!

Summary: Why is the Author such a SELL OUT
Review: I read the book first, wich took me three days. I then saw the movie right afterwards. The movie was very disappointing. It didn't potray the kind of relationship that Landon and Jamie really had together. It kept out all the things a christian would do. Like go to an orphanage, collect money and so on.... As for the movie I would have rather not have seen it. I was so upset on how they made the movie I cried in my car before actually going on with my day. I have never read a book so intense with feeling for another person before and for god... I have said my peace and I pray that next time Mr. Sparks writes another book that is possible for a movie write then he will not think of dollar signs and think of god and the others who actually enjoyed the story the way it was in the book.

Summary: A wonderful book to remember!!!!
Review: I bought this book one day because I thought instead of watching the movie first I would read the book. I am so glad I did this is my first Nicholas Sparks book that I have read. I read this book in less than a day, I feel in love with Landon along with Jamie. It made me think of when I was in school and how we all as humans take others forgranted and never give them enough respect. This book made me get mad, laugh, cry and not just cry weep all the way through the last 2 chapters of the book. It was an amazing heart warming story of Respect, Friendship, and most of all True Love! I would in courage everyone to read this book. The next day I went out and bought all of Nicholas Sparks books and I must say I can't put them down. I read The Notebook in one day-Wonderful and Then Message In A Bottle-also very good. Right now I am reading The Rescue and it looks like It to will be read in one day. A Walk To Remember, is still my favourite.....at this moment.

Summary: A Walk to Remember
Review: Hands down, this is one of the best books that I've ever read. The gambit of emotions that this book will send you through is exactly predicted by the auther. He tells you that you'll laugh and then you'll cry and that's certainly what happened. The descriptive nature of Mr. Sparks writing makes you feel that you are living in small town America and that the warm North Carolina breezes are blowing in your face as you experience the joy and pains of the characters. YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK!!
