Summary: A Very Touching, yet Beautiful Book
Review: It is touching. It's a bout a boy who slowly becomes a man as he learns to love this girl, because of her heart and her mind. I literally stayed up to 11:00 on a school night reading this book in my alarm clock light. It is incredible. And there is a great price on it. I bought a paperback at a local book store. I think anyone will enjoy this book, especially if you need something to warm your heart. It is my favorite book I've ever read, I'm the kind of teenager who reads alot, so it is very intresting. It will always have this amazing perpetual affect on me. I think it is undeniably beautiful. The book is woven together so well. Thank you, please do read it, even if you won't buy it here. -Nichole

Summary: Perfection as a Mystery
Review: I loved A Walk To Remember. Anyone who has ever lived in a small town can relate to this book. The chemistry of Landon and Jamie is so very typical of any teenage relationship. The relationship Jamie has with God is a little radical for a teenager, but in my opinion the world needs more like that. This book is wonderfully written, and has a superlative plot. This book sparked deep emotions inside of me...I laughed on one page, and cried on the next. I would recommed this book to anyteenage girl, espcially those who live in a small town.

Summary: The Best Book I Have Read
Review: A Walk To Remember is the best book I have ever read, and I have read a lot. A Walk To Remember was so great. I got the book because I had saw the preview for the movie. I absolutely fell in love with the characters and the story. I read this book within 2 days, I just couldn't put it down. Now all my friends are passing it around so everyone can read. Once I got started with A Walk To Remember, I had to read the rest of the Nicholas Sparks collection. I have read The Notebook and in the middle of A Message In A Bottle, next on my list is The Rescue and then A Bend In The Road. I am excited. You just have to read this book! You will be hooked for ever

Summary: A Walk to Remember- A WONDERFUL BOOK!
Review: A Walk to Remember, by Nicholas Sparks, is a great novel!! Jamie is the preacher's daughter and she is nice to everyone. Landon is the kind of boy who is sort of a rebel. He meets Jamie and thinks that's she's kind of weird. but then he gets to know her after taking her to the homecoming dance. They become friends and soon fall in love. He also has a change in heart about life and basically everything. The ending is very surprising! You've GOT to read this book!!

Summary: A HEART TOUCHING, BITTER SWEET HARMONY
Review: This book was an easy read because the author is writing his words from the mind of a teenage boy in the 50's. However, that just makes the book all the more enjoyable. I really enjoyed reading the book because it is a very sweet, and touching book about an unsuspecting young love. The characters were all so colorful, and in depth. i ecspecially enjoyed reading about the rituals of Jamie Sullivan, and the changes of Landon Carter. I could also relate this to my own life. I know what it means to be different, and unique in your beleifs whether religous or not. I was astounded at how Landon grew from this wonderful girl. I would greatly recommend that you read this utterly touching tale. It will kindle and warm your heart, and it will make your spirit feel content. Enjoy this book, and don't rush through it!

Summary: A Light-hearted and Serious Book
Review: I read this book because a friend was reading it. I did not do so however until my Freshman year of Highschool. I regret at waiting so long. A Walk To Remember is a book for all emotions. I laughed, I cried, I was shocked, I was amazed. For anyone, who has not read this book, read it. It is a fine work of literature, that should win some kind of a Newbery or other award.

Summary: A Walk to Remember
Review: The name of my book is A Walk to Remember, by Nicholas Sparks. The story is about two teenagers who fall in love even though they have plenty of obstacles to go through. Jamie Sullivan is a preacher's daughter. Her mother died during her birth. She has a bunch of religious beliefs and is not the most popular person in the world. Landon Carter is the son of a state senator who he hardly ever sees. He hangs out with the popular crowd and is the kind of boy who drinks and gets in trouble a lot.

I like Jamie the best because she is the kind of girl everyone wants to be. I didn't really like Landon because he was like the bad boy that made fun of people like Jamie. The message of the book is don't look on the inside of a person look on the inside and get to know them. The thing I like best is that Jamie even though she loves Landon doesn't want him to fall in love with her. The thing I like the least is that Jamie's dad doesn't like Landon because of Landon's father. I wasn't satisfied with the ending because Landon lost the love of his life.

The author kept me so interested I didn't want to put the book down. The author tells just what you need to know and doesn't give too many details. The vocabulary is a little difficult but most people could probably understand it. I like the way the author kind of drags the end out so you will stay interested. The book will probably appeal to ages 10 and up because there are some harsh events that are depressing. I would recommend it if you like love and religious stories. I give my book *****.

Summary: Old-Fashion Sweet Love
Review: A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks is a book that has touched all my five senses. Through tears and laugher was the love story of two seniors in High School unfolded in front of me. I picked out this book in the first place because I heard a song called Cry on TV. The lyrics and the melody of Cry moved me and I later found out that the song was made for a movie called ¡§A Walk to Remember¡¨. Since the movie was not out yet, I decided to read the book based on the movie instead. I didn¡¦t think the book would be good because usually books based on movies aren¡¦t that great, but I decided to give it a try anyways. And boy was I wrong! After I read the book, all the lyrics in Cry fitted together, creating an even sweeter atmosphere whenever I hear the song. A Walk to Remember is not just a typical love story¡Xthere are many twists and turns in the plot that leaves you speechless. With Sparks¡¦s descriptive writing, it makes feels that you are actually watching the movie, or even one of the characters in love. The love experienced by Landon and Jamie is so pure and innocence that it makes you leave the society in 2002 and go back in time to a sweeter world, 1958. The story takes place in North Carolina in a sweet little town where everybody knows everybody. This scenery creates a better feeling how it is so easy to fall in love during that time¡Xthe love is old-fashioned but yet so clean and sweet. Unfortunately, a tragedy happens in the end that makes one¡¦s heart wrench. Nicholas Spark guides you through the sweetest part of life because once upon reading this book, you may tie connections with similar experiences you once may have had. In this book, not only was Jamie an inspiration to Landon but an inspiration to me. This is the kind of book that you would want to read by yourself a cold day wrapped up in a blanket. Satisfaction guaranteed! =0)

Summary: I wasn't impressed
Review: I am surprised at how many people gave this book such good ratings. I found the story to be boring, trite and predictable. The girl in the story really is too good to be true. Christian or no, just not someone most people can relate to. As for the boy's character, I have to say, I enjoyed his character development although his change of heart happens a little too quickly and with little explanation as to why.

The ending of the story was so predictable it's really insulting to the reader's intelligence. Check it out from the library if you want an exceedingly unchallenging, "brain-candy" type of read. I wouldn't buy it and definitely wouldn't see Hollywood's version either.
