Rating: Summary: A Walk To Remember Review: A Walk To Remember is about a teenage girl named Jamie Hegbert and a teenage boy named Landon Carter. Jamie's mother died when she was born. Her father was a priest and she took very much pride in that. When she was old enough to read her father gave her her mother's bible which she took everywhere. Jamie read it from cover to finish over and over. She was never very popular in school, kids alwas thought she was this freak of some sort. She never thought anything of it though. If you passed her in the hall at school you would always see her smiling. She made sure that she had devoted enough time to people in need. After school Jamie would help tutor kids.... But all of a sudden she met this amazing boy, Landon Carter. ... A Walk To Remember was such a good book to me because it was filled with hope, sadness, and enjoyment. It had all these emotions I didn't even know could fit into a two hundred and forty page book. Reading a book about someone struggling the way Jamie and Landon did really helps someone like me to think that my life isn't as hard as I thought it was. I thought this book was eye popping because it was told by a teenage boy (Landon Carter) unlike other books I have read. I would recommend this book to all ages. I think teens might find it more interesting because they would be able to relate to it more than their parents or someone older. Though I think that all ages should read it. I hope that you all find it as interesting as I did.

Rating: Summary: Emotional Review: Could not put this book down, even though I could hardly read the words through my tears.
Rating: Summary: A Walk you will definatley remember Review: A walk to remember my Nicholas Sparks is probably, if not, the best book i have ever read. Taking place in the late 1950's in North Carolina, it forces you to not judge a person by their appearance. Jamie Sullivan, is not a very popular girl, nor a very liked girl either. She is the type that always says nice things to people no matter, how mean they are to her. If you like sad love stories this book is for you. The way the Landon falls in love with her because she finally realizeds that she is the nicest person he has ever met and wants to spend the rest of his life with her is so romantic. When you read this book have a box of tissues on hand. Enjoy It! Adrienne
Rating: Summary: Take out the hanky Review: This book was a very easy read. I enjoyed the way the author made us feel exactly how the characters felt. He really got me under their skins. So much so that I litterally had to put the book down a few times to get a hold of myself. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good cry.
Rating: Summary: Tears of Sadness and Joy Review: It took me less than a weekend to read this book...and it was a very busy weekend. Somehow, I couldn't put it down. The story of Jamie Sullivan, the awkward daughter of a widowed Baptist minister in the 1950s, and Landon Carter, the popular son of a US Congressman, is absolutely incredible. They begin as absolute opposites...she's the shy, sweet girl who everyone makes fun of in school. He's the guy everyone wants to be friends with. They end up having the leading parts in the Christmas play, and their friendship begins to evolve. It turns into love, but then a heartbreaking discovery may split them forever. This is a walk everyone should take, but be prepared with plenty of tissues. Nicholas Sparks did an excellent job describing the settings and happenings of the book. I'd never read a book by him before, but now I'm contemplating checking out some of his other books.
Rating: Summary: Easy reading Review: This book was an easy read. I have never read a book in one sitting and I sat at home sick one day and read it from cover to cover... It's a nice story that should entertain you if not make you cry.
Rating: Summary: A Walk to Remember, Reviewed by: Teresa Tartaglio, Monroe Ct Review: I just finished reading A Walk to Remember, by Nicholas Sparks, which is about how everything changes when you find that special somone. Also Sparks sends an upliffing message to his readers that you dont have always need to be popular to find your true love. Landon Carter had dated a girl or two, and even has been in love. The last person in town he thought he could fall in love with is Jamie Sullivan, a quiet girl who carries a Bible where ever she goes, and lives a differnt life then other teenagers. Since Landon didn't have a date for the homecoming dance he asked Jamie to go. Landon had no idea he would forever be changed by Jamie and he would come to find out that being with her would send him on the road to manhood. I would recommend this book because in life each of us may find one great love, or even a great friend that changes everything.
Rating: Summary: A Walk To Remember Review: The book a Walk To Remember, written by Nicholas Sparks, is one of the most heartfelt book I have ever read. There is romance, drama, and many lessons learned. In a little town in North Carolina, a boy was becoming a man. When Landon Carter was a seinor, he took a drama class, which just happened to have the minister's daughter in it. Jamie Sullivan was a plain girl, she didn't care what other people thought of her or that she wasn't "normal". The play that was put on was written by Jamie's father, and of course Jamie played the angel. Landon was given the main part, Tom, who falls in love with with her. Thats when it started, Landon was falling for Jamie. He started visiting her house every day after school, but he soon felt unfulfilled, so he got up the nerve to ask her out (keep in mind that this happened in the 1950's and that was a big deal), and to his surprise, she said yes. Eventually they started to spend as much time as possible together. They did things at the orphanage or just sat on he pourch and talked. Landon finally put a meaning to the saying, "Don't Judge a book by it's cover". He finds out that it doesn't matter if Jamie doesn't wear the right clothes or she reads the Bible all the time, it's those traits that make her unique and special to him. The ending was a HUGE surprise! It was like being thropwn a curve ball. The book showed me was it was like to live life to the fullest. It's like Andrew Loyde Webber said, "Love Changes Everything".
Rating: Summary: Very Touching, and heartfelt Review: This book is woven together so well. It's about a boy who slowly becomes a man when he falls in love with a girl, not because of what people say of her, but because of her heart. It will always leave a perptual feeling for me. It's my favorite book I've ever read. I literally stayed up to 11:00 at night reading in my alarm clock light. It is a good book, even if you don't buy it here please read it. It gives me as a person, strong feelings about life. It is about two people falling in love, through obstacles. It is so riveting...
