Summary: MiMi's Review
Review: I read the book "A Walk to Remember" by Nicholas Sparks. The book was about a not so popular girl named Jamie Sullivan, and Landon Carter, who was a popular boy. Jamie's father was a preacher at the church in town and was protective of his daughter. Through out the book Landon begins to fall in love with Jamie, but I wont tell you more so you can read it for yourself.
I really liked this book because Landon and Jamie came from two different lives and backgrounds to fall in love with each other. Nicholas Sparks pulled you into the book so that you never want to put it down. This book is also very easy reading. I definitely recommend this book to anyone that wants to read a love story and to cry.

Summary: Good story -- not an exciting read...
Review: Although the story is crafted quited well, I did not find the book an exciting read. The book flew by quite fast since the book is easily read and not of great length.

The story is quite riveting but just doesn't have the 'oopmh' to keep me on the edge, old fashion love stories just dont keep my occupied as well as other genres could.

But, like I said, the story is good. It is worth the time spent if you are in the mood for a small love story which does not get crowded by small trivial trials and tribulations. It's concise and direct, making it simple and managable.

Summary: A Book to Remember
Review: This book was a great book, especially for young teenagers. The book starts off with Landon Carter having a flashback of his high school days. He tells of his senior year and how he was changed forever by one girl. A girl who he never thought could ever change him. Jamie Sullivan was the town pastor's daughter who was very religious and kept to herself. She carried her bible around all the time even at school. The kids at school made fun of Jamie because of how diferent she was from them. She helped an orphanage and even when others made fun of her she was nice right back to them because that was how she was brought up. Landon ends up going to the homecoming dance with her because she was the only one left; he does a play with her where he sees the true Jamie. He starts to have more than just 'friend' feelings but tries to hide them so he will not get made fun of too. The book makes you feel happy and sad at the same time. Jamie and Landon over their senior year grow together and fall in love and its qutie beautiful. I would recommend this to young teens, especially girls, because it teaches you the heartaches of life and love.

Summary: A WALK TO REMEMBER
Review: Knowing that an outcast and a Jock usually doesn't mix, Landon and Jamie fell in love. In the book A WALK TO REMEMBER, Nicholas Sparks, inspires the reader to focus on the love of a teenage couple. It shows the reader how appearance doesn't mean as much, when you feel safe in your lover's arms. Landon and Jamie never knew that romance could come to them. When they realize that they ware in love, everything around them starts to change. Not only the two couple social life changes, but, also there family. Love is hard to find, but when you finally receive it, keep it, before it vanishes in a blank of an eye.

Usually I wouldn't just pick up a book, open it, and read it. But the cover of the couple holding hands caught my eye. As I read this book, I realize that people go through harsh things in life, when they don't even deserve it. Because of Jamie's life style, of being an outcast, people looked down on her like she wasn't a person. When Landon finally saw passed her ragged clothes, and ponytail, he realize that the key to his heart was the minister daughter, Jamie. It also made me feel that if love could be so wonderful and powerful, I deeply want to feel how Landon felt.

It's easy to fall in love, but the hardest part is telling your parents about that person, especially when your dad hates him or her. Jamie was in that tight spot. One of the conflict in this story was between Landon and Jamie's father. Landon was the neighborhood trouble maker. Jamie's father was a minister, therefore she wants someone decent who can take care of her. When Jamie introduces Landon to her dad, he doesn't approve. He didn't give Landon a chance to explain himself. It was hard for Jamie to go places with Landon, with her father always forbidding it. Weeks pass, and Jamie's father saw another side to Landon. He trusted him with his daughter, and later approved of Landon.

One of the life lessons in this book is judging people from the outside, rather taking a look in the inside. Before you judge someone, or criticized them on how they look, you never know they aren't what you think they are. In order to succeed, you have to meet new people and except them for who they are. as a person. When you do something to someone, it backfires and comes right back to you. So watch before you do or say something, because you don't want anything bad to happen to you.

After reading this book, it made me think how life goes. Life is like a fairy tale. Some people live happily ever after, others end trajectly and some can even be unfinished.. Landon and Jamie spend the best years of their lives together. Landon is left with a broken heart and a unfinished love life. Life doesn't last forever, so cherish it as best as you can before everything vanishes in a blink of an eye.

Summary: A story not soon forgotten
Review: I reccomend this book to anyone who has ever loved someone else. Honestly, I thought it was a little too predictable, and in some ways it seemed like just another love story. However, it is one of the very few love stories that really touched my heart. It makes you more aware of how people treat each other, and, therefore, makes you take a closer look at yourself. Though short in length, this book contains numerous lessons to be learned, and ideas worth taking into consideration.

Summary: Mallory Remembers the Walk
Review: I would recommend this book to anyone. It was very inspirational and made you think twice about the way you look at life. In the book, Jamie Sullivan is going though many struggles, but handles them amazingly well. Anyone can learn a lot from this book. It is very touching and there is never a dull moment. During this book you will laugh and you will cry as you follow Landon Carter and Jamie Sullivan through a very eventful year. You will be missing out if you don't read this book.

Summary: Jamie's Secret
Review: A Walk to Remember was an excellent book, the only problem was that someone told me what happened in the book before I read it. Still, it gave me goosebumps, and brought tears to my eyes.
I liked the book because Jamie is just an ordinary girl, who doesn't care about what others think of her. When Landon, your average high schooler, meets Jamie, Jamie teaches Landon the meaning of life. She also teaches him to look beyond what is in front of him, and that life is not about him.
When Landon learns of Jamie's secret, he does everything he can for her, but he still feels something is missing. After he figures out what he can do, his life is changed forever.

Summary: *mandaz review*
Review: A Walk to Remember was one of the better books I have read. Usually, I tend to get bored with books, but this one kept my interest. Although it started out somewhat slow, the middle of the book kept me wanting to read more and more.
A Walk to Remember tells the story of how one unpopular and "strange" girl completely changes the life of one rebellious, "cool" boy. When the boy falls in love with the girl, his whole life is changed for the better, but the girl hides a secret. This one secret greatly changes both of their lives forever.
I would recommend this book to those who like to read sweet love stories. You'll finish it within a matter of a couple days - trust me!

Summary: Megan's Walk to Remember
Review: A Walk to Remember was a book I immediately loved from the beginning, and, towards the ending, I could not put it down for a second. Although the reading went quickly, I truly did not want the end to come, for I enjoyed reading this book immensely. Nicholas Sparks incorporated high school lifestyles and ideals with the concepts of love, life, death, and true inner beauty. Landon, one of the main characters and the narrator of the story, was a high school boy that wanted to have fun, popularity, and yet become a man all at the same time. Throughout the book, his opinionated manner made me smile and sometimes laugh. Jamie Sullivan was also a main character that caught my attention in the book. She was a modern-day angel, and her caring, compassionate, and calm manner soothed all the tense and emotional moments these two experienced. The reader is drawn in by the humerous beginning of critics and high school life; after that, the real meaning behind the book becomes more apparent, and the ending is an extremely emotional one. Be prepared to laugh and to cry, but also to find the meaning of life and love that the narrator in this book describes so well. I gained so much from this book, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to read one of the best books you will ever lay your hands on.

Summary: Heather's Book to Remember
Review: I feel A Walk to Rember captures the true essence of love, grief, and happiness. The book took the reader to a place where things where sweet and simple. The characters and their experieces felt real to me. For example, Jamie Sullivan brought a great sense of comfort to me. The faith that Jamie had is a true inspiration to me. Along with Jamie, Landon Carter was depicted as typical teenage boy. Throughout the book, his views on life and God were changed by the girl he loved, Jamie. The relationship between Jamie and Landon was beautiful and refreshing. I loved the reference to God in everything the couple did. The book made me laugh and cry all at the same time. I loved it.
