Review: I LOVED IT!It was a well written love story which is very rare from a man. But I must warn you that it's a MAJOR TEARJERKER! If you saw the movie, but haven't read the book, the book is WAY better!

Review: I read "A Walk to Remember" for my supplementary novel. I thought this book was very good. Jamie Sullivan is a teenage girl, that is not in the "in-crowd." She is a very good student, who's father is a preacher, and her mother died when she was young. Landon Carter is the popular boy at school. Landon starts to fall in love with Jamie, even though Jamie's father didn't approve because he is very strict. This is a great book, because two people from completly different backgrounds fall in love. I definitely recomment this book, for anyone one looking for a quick read.

Review: True love is usually a once in a life time experience, even if it is found at an early age. In Nicholas Sparks' A Walk to Remember, Landon Cater finds his true love in his teen years. Jamie Sullivan is the preachers daughter, but she is also an outcast. Jamie is kind to everyone she meets, but she does not have a single friend. Students believe Jamie is weird becuase she carries a Bible where ever she goes. Landon Carter is a jock who needs a date to his homecoming dance. Jamies is the only person who does not have a date. Landon and Jamie go to the dance together, but Jamie has one request for him. Jamie askes Landon not to fall in love with her. After the dance Jamie asks Landon to be the lead in the Christmas play. Landon excepts becuase he owes her a favor. Landon and Jamie spend many hours together working on the play, and even after practice Landon walks Jamie home. Landon and Jamie become wonderful friends. Landon is beginning to see Jamie as a friend and even maybe spending the rest of his life with her. A Walk to Remember focus on the love Jamie and Landon have for one another and how love can come in the most unfamiliar places. A Walk to Remember shows how life is like a fairytale but it can change with a blink of an eye. Sparks teaches his readers to love a person for who they are inside, to deal with tragedy at an early age, and to follow your heart.

Summary: The Best Book I Have Ever Read
Review: The book started off kinda slow but gradually progressed into a great book that you can't put down. A quite girl named Jaime and a boy named Landon meet and become friends. They do a school play together that brings them closer than they would have thought. The book has a secret that will make you cry. I rate this book very high and I would recommend it to anyone.

Summary: Not all its cracked up to be
Review: Nicholas Sparks' A Walk to Remember was not the fantastic book I had anticipated it would be. I would rate it a 3 out of 5. Having been a best seller, I expected a bit more from the novel. As far as literary merit goes, I saw none. Sparks' writing lacks use of any symbolism or motifs and contains poor excuses for what were intended to be examples of foreshadowing. His characters are undeveloped and his plot, predictable. I suppose I should have considered my distaste of the dullness of the movie Message in a Bottle before purchasing A Walk to Remember. On a better note, I will hand it to Sparks for creating a refreshingly moral demonstration of teenage life; a rarity these days. His wholesome humor and drama are sure to please someone but as far as I am concerned, I'll stick to looking for something deeper in 200 pages.

Summary: I Will Remember This Book - ks
Review: A Walk to Remember is an incredible book about two high school students. Two very different character, Landon, the popular guy, and Jamie, the preacher's daughter, paths cross and their lives are forever changed. Landon and Jamie's relationship grows and changes over the course of the year as they first go as Homecoming dates, then are partners in the play. Landon begins to become attached to Jamie and begins to realize how she views life. As Landon and Jamie get to know each other, Landon realizes that he has fallen in love with her. Suddenly, when he first realizes this something happens and he realizes that thier relationship will never last. This book is a great page turn and a terrific read! It is a story of true and undying love, something everyone would be lucky to find.

Summary: Jessie's Walk to Remember
Review: This was an exellent book. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. It is a wonderful story of love and sacrifice that will tear at your heart and put a smile on your face. The author does a wonderful job of making the characters easy to identify with. Although at times Landon is easy to dislike, his true character shines through before you have the chance to write him off. Jamie's sweet character is always difficult to find a flaw in throughout this novel. These two teenagers will capture your heart. This book teaches true life lessons, as well as being entertaining. It will make you want to tell everyone you love, just how much you love them. You will appreciate everything in your life more after reading this book. If you have the time, definitely read this book. Once you start reading, you will not want to put it down. Make sure that there is a box of tissue near, because this is definitely a tear jerker.

Review: Everythind about this bookl is excellent!I really think Nicholas Sparks did a great job telling the true and ultimate love story the love story everyone wants in there lives.When I red this book i began to question many things that i notice and other people dont such as how hard crossing guards work thats why i always say hello and ask them how they are doing and if i can help them with anything.TO me doing these things were just a way of life but then i realized how different i was no other child or adult that i have seen has done those things. I got mad and decided i wanted to do something about it so i did.it wasnt something for the crossing guards but i got a whole bunch of peolple to volenteer for a cancer walk to raise money to help cancer patients everywhere.This is how i can relate to A A Walk To Remember.And ononce and for all i ask what kind of society are we living in if we cant do a nice gesture once and awhile?

Summary: A Walk to Remember
Review: This is by far my favorite book! I LOVED it soooo much. I thought it was amazing story about your first love. That I think most everyone can relate to. If you are in Middle/High School you can relate to all the "groups" and images that everyone has of one another, but when opposites attract its a beautiful thing. If you are a bit older, most likely you know what it is to be in love for the first time. Of course, we all know what happens in the end...but still the memories and moments leading up to it were amazing. There were soo many scenes and moments where you are so caught up in the book, you DONT wanna let go! I recomend this book to everyone. Its such a moving and touching story. The last 50 pages will be done in one shot cause there is no physical way you can put the book down!
