Summary: Oh My God
Review: I have not read many books like this because of my age. I finished this 10 minutes ago and I'm still crying. I can tell that it's going to take a while for my to stop. I love it so much!

Summary: This a great book/movie!!
Review: This book and the movie were great! My friend Erika saw the movie before me and she said it made her smile and feel like crying. She loved it so I just HAD to see the movie myself. It was great. I loved it, but before I even watched the movie I got the book and read it so that I could have both!

Summary: Bad Ending
Review: Everything was so great in the beginning. The love betweet the two was fresh. It was a love that I could only wish I would have. I was narrowing in on the end and I knew what was coming. But then the book shocked me with a highly unbelievable unding. Marriage? Give me a break. It was sweet but in a real world that would never happen. Also, like usual the book is 100% better than the movie but that's usually how it is.

Summary: Beautiful Love Story
Review: I loved this book. It was incredibly moving, touching, and heartfelt. Jamie Sullivan is one of the most memorable, angelic characters I've read in a long time, and the story of the love between her and Landon will not leave my heart for a long time.

Nothing is more pure, innocent or beautiful then first love -- untouched by inner conflicts inflicted by past pains. The love that develops between Landon and Jamie is as pure and beautiful as love can be.

Jamie is a loving, caring, amazing girl. Despite her terminal illness, her perceptions of the world are filled with nothing but love and faith. Untouched by what others think of her, she is kind to everyone despite how they treat her.

Landon gets into typical teen age trouble and is forced to be in the school play as well as to carry out responsibilities that are a daily part of Jamie's life (volunteering and helping others). It is through these activities that these two people's lives cross, and are drawn to one another.

Jamie's affect on Landon is profound, and although at first his willingness to accept his feelings for her is hindered by his friends, he ultimately relents and falls for her. He emerges as a person who believes in himself, and even more so, who loves and cares for another human being with such undying strength and compassion.

Albeit predictable, this is a great book for teens to read who are struggling with identity and fitting in. There are lessons in this book for young and old alike, about love, faith, and compassion. And about believing in yourself.

Summary: I'll give it a five
Review: I just finished this book and i thought it was great. So beleivable, so fluid. They author plants right in the scenes as though this were a Drive-In Theatre. It is easy to follow even for those not as old as the main characters is supposed to be.

The book is often funny too. The comments about his strategy for becoming student body president was hilarious.

My one fault in the book is the excessive use of the phrase" If you know what I mean." I am not sure if it was used to bring the reader back to the present time or to make sure the reader is fixed in the past, I just think it was used too much, there for a predictable distraction.

Summary: sad
Review: This book is about bad boy finding a place in the heart of a dying girl who teaches him how to make better decisions with his life...and she also teaches him that he has a long life to live so he better start living....a great love story....but very sad...read the ending with a box of tissue!

Summary: A truley beautiful story that you will never forget
Review: After seeing the movie, I knew that I must get the book. I only managed to get my hands on it and I was blown away.
A Walk to Remember is a story of Landon, a 17 year old in his last year of High School. Through a twist of fait, he falls in love with Jamie, the preacher's daughter and the girl that touched his heart. Throughout the book, Sparks keeps you on a journey of true love and faith.
Never have I read a book so deep and bittersweet. And the challenge that overcomes them both in the end will have you in tears and never forgeting this book which is truley "A Walk to Remember."

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Not as traditional as you might think...
Review: A Walk to Remember is of course, a love story, but the novel's characters, unlike other love stories, develop with eachother. The author describes each character the most when the two are together, all the more pulling in the concept that their unexpected love is the only thing that makes them complete.
Wonderful, heart wrenching ending, unexpected, beautiful story.
