Summary: A Glittery Fun Book Worth its Price
Review: I had seen Ms. Brandt's book reccommended in the recent issue of Girl's Life and absolutely *WANTED* it! While I was at the mall today, the title of the book made it's way to the front of my Pesky-Girl brain. I bought it, and read it within 2 hours! It is a great book. Why, may you ask?

Letsee. There are soo many reasons that I would completely *purchase* this for other people. Jennifur is a great person (and author) and knows how a teen thinks. The book does not preach its message. What also suprised me was that it didn't spend fifty glittertrillion pages on beauty. It really concentrated on t he *life* factor of a teen.

The concept is also great! I love thinking of my life as a movie. This title of the book provided me the lil pink idea of naming my autobiography (for school): Life is a Movie Starring ME! The autobiography is written in script form to keep with the ingenious concept (Thank you Jennifur!)

I used to think that a lot of girls who wore glitter and pink were boy-obsessed girly-girls but now I know that I should flaunt my Pesk-girlishness and I'll paint my 10 little digits pink as soon as I get home!

Wonderful book.

Summary: Let's tell girls what "Real American Girls" look like
Review: I love this book! It tells us that girls don't have to weigh 85 pounds to be beautiful. They don't have to buy the most expensive cosmetics and clothes to look good. I like the concept of trying to attain your own look...instead of following the crowd. This is a book I could have used as a teenager. I believe girls can truly learn something here, how to love themselves the way they are. Priceless information.

Summary: Excellent, Five stars!!!
Review: I love this book! It totally shows girls that they don't blend in to be cool, and that it's okay to not do drugs or drink alcohol when you're underage. Every teenage girl should own this book and maybe the world would be a little bit nicer.

Summary: I enjoyed it.
Review: I sort of wish it was a little bit more words and less journal. However I did enjoy putting some of my own thoughts in it. I liked how she uses all the cool words in place of curse words! I definatly respect people who use appropriate language more than people who cuse constantly. I do like the old fashioned way she wrote the book. If only life was still puuurrrrfect-as Jennifur would say!

Summary: LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION
Review: INT. BEDROOM - DAY

We open on a dismal bedroom shown in black and white. A frumpy young girl sits alone on her bed, reading a paperback book. As she finishes the last page, and closes the book, the lights suddenly begin to come up. As if she were Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, the room is instantly transformed into a Technicolor palace. The once mousey girl is now aglow in her sparkly tiara and princess dress. Bright pink curtains frame the windows, through which the light has finally begun streaming through. "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" is playing on the radio, and the once dreary and depressing bedroom has come to life in the girliest way possible.

ZOOM IN ON: BOOK COVER.

We now see that the book the young girl was reading is Jennifur Brandt's new epic: LIFE IS A MOVIE STARRING YOU - The Pesky Meddling Girl's Guide to Living Your Dreams. If life is a movie starring me, then this would be the book that inspired the screenplay. What an amazingly adorable handbook for us chicks in need of a little girly guidance. This book is sweet and funny without being patronizing or belittling to the teen scene. Every page is a glittery pearl of wisdom. Jennifur understands the trials and tribulations of the everygirl because she is everygirl. This book has truly inspired me to be as Pesky as I wanna be. I'm ready for my close-up Mr. DeMille...

Summary: Life really IS a movie starring you
Review: Jennifur is a genious- it's as simple as that. She teaches you that its ok if you arent a barbie doll. And you don't have to be vulgar and obnoxious to make your statement. If you are one of those ditzy malibu barbies who is unidentifiable to anyone outside your clique because you're all clones of each other, then maybe you should flip through this one.

Summary: Fabulous!
Review: Jennifur is the kewlest chick. She's lovely ...and I admire her for all her work. I live in rainy Wales, full of history and culture and Charlotte Church, but Jen really takes the cake for her delicious read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Groovy-esque
Review: Jennifur sounds like such a groovy person! I bet she would be a barrel of fun to hang out with. She's what I aspire to be. It really is a charming little book. For those who want to add a little or a lot of pizzazz in their lives I would highly recommend making this book one of your purchases! Cha-Ching! C'mon it's well worth the [money]. Kick back on your butterfly rug and sip on your iced tea with lemon ... This is a great read! -Holly
