Review: Although I absolutly love all sweet valley books, particularlysenior year, I have to say that this wasn't that great of a book.Conner is being totally uncool and drinking all the time and I don't think that is right. High school students shouldn't consume alcohol or else they will be come total losers, no one at my high school (i'm a senior) drinks except the total dorks with no friends and I don''t want a happening dude like conner to become a loser. The best part of this book was when Emily Carlson moved to sweet valley from las vegas. I love how she dresses! I couln't believe how cool it was when she walked into sweet valley high wearing sea green leggings (which she painted flamingos on), pink lycra biking shorts, and a large men's dress shirt with a huge dragon stenciled on it, and to complete the look dangly dragon earings and colorful macoroni necklaces. I think emily is just what sweet valley needs, a different kind of hip influence. Also I think Liz has a crush on Emily's twin brother Earl, if things between her and conner don't work out there may be some romance in that department! i hope andy realizes he's just confused and not gay before he comes out. A major bummer about this book is tommy knutson is hardly mentioned and he is by far the coolest character in the book.

In this book, Tia Ramirez is trying to act like the super-hero and cure him of his developing alcoholism--which is basically the same run-around from the past few books, with Tia meddling in his life and Conner acting like he has something--possibly his favorite vodka bottle?--permanently wedged sideways up his--um, hindquarters. And then on to one of my favorite love triangles involving Jade Wu, Jessica Wakefield, and Jeremy Aames--and now it looks like there's a fourth "J" member: Josh Radinsky (Lila Fowler's ex). Even though Jade's currently dating Jeremy, she's also seeing Josh on the side--which is just the kind of news Jessica is eager to hear, since it might bring Jeremy back to her. Although Jade isn't one of my favorite characters (she's almost the equivalent of Melissa Fox in my book), I had to laugh at her "Guys I'd Like to Hook Up With" list on page 125. I definitely couldn't blame her for putting Gavin Rossdale on there. :) And speaking of the above-mentioned Miss Fox, it looks like a football scout from the University of Michigan (a school Will Simmons really wants to attend) is showing an interest in his sports ability. But since he and Melissa want to go to the same college--and Melissa is more interested in USC--there's some static between these two, which could develop into more in the following book, "Nothing is Forever." Overall, "It's My Life" is a good addition to this series. The ending was particularly good, involving some major changes with the four J's--Jade, Jeremy, Jessica, and Josh--and Conner and his party pals.

Will is wanting to go to Michigan University, and Melissa, if she has to, will go with him. Jess is jealous of Jade and Jeremy, but she also finds out what Jade has been up to, and Jeremy doesn't want a bar of it, until he sees with his own eyes. This book is also a lead-on from when Andy thinks he's gay.

Jade/Jeremy/Jessica triangle hits a speedbump. Andy is more open with his sexuality. I love this series so much. I can really relate to it.

Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: This was an okay book Review: First of all, what happened to Andy. It was like he never came out. In real life if a friend of yours says he is gay, its not something you just brush off. It something that takes a while to get adjusted to. The Conner thing was weird, I am still not too sure what happened to him at the end. Elizabeth should definatly dump him. And poor Tia, she had to find out about Angel. I loved how Will and Melissa came back in the plot line. I wish Ken and Maria had more of a story. It seems next story will eloborate on Will and Ken's footbal status, I can't wait!

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Crazy but amazing... Review: Ok, I love this series, to begin with. All the drama and backstabbing really captures a reader like nothing else. I like this book alot, mostly because the characters aren't all sugar coated. I think Conner needs to get his head out of the clouds and face the reality that he has problems. Andy just needs a nice girl to come along for him, and Jade Wu makes me incredibly mad. Here you have Jeremy, and incredibly sweet guy, tripping all over himself in attempt to win Jade over and here she is making lists of guys she wants to hook up with! I wanted to reach out and scream for Jeremy to dump that backstabbing witch. I think Lila should be included more in these books, because I really want her to get what she deserves for being such a backstabber to Jessica in the beginning- same goes with Amy- they both made me angry. I think, however, that even though these books have a lot of secrets and backstabbing, I absolutely love them and recommend them to even the hard to please audience.
