Summary: I give it 100 stars!!!!
Review: I couldn't love this book any more!!!! I love many characters and will hold a place in my heart for the seer and the sword for EVER!!!! This book had everything...romance(a wonderful one, even more than one if you can spot them), action and plenty of it, adventure, morals, and magic!!! I really truly want everyone who loves any of these things to read this book... especially if you liked Prydain Chronicles, Chronicles of Narnia, and the arkadians! This book is so great, i read it in one day. I really, truly could not put it down! I was so caught up in it all i did was read. And so will you. You'll be swept up in the plot and you'll love every minute of it... from the romances, to the adventures landen and torina have, seeing every point of view of almost every important character. It was a powerfully written book that is destined for fame and will be your favorite on the shelf for years to come. Don't hesitate to buy my favorite book and what will be yours too!!!

Summary: Easy read and entertaining book
Review: I really enjoyed this book. I found it easy to read and understand. I was able read it in a day but still really enojoyed the characters. The plots were good and it moved along. I recommend this for readers who enjoyed the Prydain Chronicles by Lloyd Alexander, The Water Trilogy by Kara Dalkey, The Dragon Chronicles by Susan Fletcher, and other stories that involve the kingdom good vs evil line with that King Arthur touch.

Summary: Ready For An Adventure?
Review: The author has crafted a realm of her own in this book, filled with magic, intrigue, bands of thieves, and a prince and princess in hiding.
Though I admit, in the inside jacket of the book, the bottom sentence had said, "Or must the Seer take up the sword?" led me to believe that the seer would actually get to fight (I'm fond of books that have girls prove their strengths). But no, that was misleading. She never actually does use the sword BUT she does have other means of helping.
There were parts in this book in which I was at the edge of my seat, so anxious for more of the plor to unveil. The sheer cleverness of the main characters awed me so much that... well, I finished the book in a day! It satisfied all my loves in a book: action, romance, magic... and characters that you love.
I'm 14 and this book is definitely an enjoyable read for those who are ready for an adventure...

Summary: A Review from a 15 year old!
Review: ...
This is a really good book to read! I first borrowed it from the library, and I could not put it down! I was so intrigued by the story that I stayed up until 4:00 in the MORNING!!!!!!! I also advise to guys, too! Even my best friend, Sky, loves this book and he's 16! Of corse, I am 15, so this is obviously going to be a different opinion than everybody else (but I'm sure that they might agree). I think it needs a sequel!
This book is about a princess who is given a crystal and a slave, but she sets him free. She also has the powers of a seer which is seeing the future in the crystal. The boy,Landen, teaches the princess,Torina, how to shoot with a bow and arrows that he made as a gift of appreciation for saving his life.OF corse, they grow older and Princess Torina falls in love with a really evil man named Vesputo. After Torina's father is killed he goes after the thrown! Princess Torina runs away to another country, little does she know that Landen has fled there too! It is not until many days until they find each other. They then go back to their home place and help defeat Vesputo! And they lived happily ever after!
THE END!
NOw,I personally hate romantic mushy stuff, but this was just a little bit of everything! It has a little bit of romance, a little bit of action, a little bit of adventure... a little bit of ...well...everything.
I advise you to read this book!

Summary: AWESOME!!!!!!
Review: I love this book from beginning to end! This is probably one of the best books I have ever read! Of corse, you probably already know that it's about a red haired, hot blooded princess whose father gives her a crystal and a slave. She sets him free and is able to see the future.
This a really great book filled with action, adventure, love, and accomplishment!

Summary: A MUST READ for all who love a good story
Review: When I first read the summary on the inside cover of this novel, I was a little skeptical. Very fairy-taleish. I'm now a sophomore in high school and stories written for younger people don't usually catch my attention, but I decided to pick it up anyway. I am sooo glad I did! You will be too! Once the story really gets going (which doesn't take long) one gets sucked into the magical world Victoria Hanley has so brilliantly created. Beneath the seemingly innocent story line lies an exciting and dark plot of assasinations, betrayal, revenge, war, love, courage, and loyalty. All of the characters are so well developed you can't help but fall in love with them, or loathe them respectively. This is one of the best books I have ever read, and I'm sure you will agree, if you'll take a leap of faith. I did.

Summary: Very Enjoyable indeed
Review: This book is really great, it ranks up there with my all time favorites like "Beauty" Robin McKinley and "Howls Moving Castle" Diana Wynne Jones. It's a book for all ages, although suggested for readers of the age 12 and up, I am 25 and found this book exciting and memorable. It's one to mull over. The way in which a relationship is developed by Landen and Torina is convincing, whilst the background characters like the evil Vesputo, suitably threatening and all-pervasive.

For a while there you really think she's going to fall for the wrong guy twice! Naturally all ends well.

I recommend you leave a bit of a gap between finishing this book and beginning her second book set in the same world, "Healers Keep", or be bitterly disappointed.

Summary: Truely a Work of Art
Review: I loved the Seer and the Sword, not only did I love it but I gave it to my friends and they loved it. Although it is not a war centered book, I gave it to my war loving friend and she liked so musch she gave it to her mother to read. There has been one person out of thirty that has not adored this book. That is also shone by winning the Colorado book award, and it is in the running for at least five other state awards, this book, is truly a work of art.

Summary: A great book
Review: I really love this book. A little confusing though. from the plot line to the people and the Seers to the Swords, I love it all.

It tells of the teenage years of Princess Torina's life, which are harder than most teenage years. Her grandmtoher dies, her father murdered, her mother goes insane, her best friend is blames for it, she is engaged to her father's killer and she herself was able to tell that it was going to happen, but not able to stop it.

As I said, its a little confusing. But, Torinna, the princess, and Landen, her best friend, both are interesting and creative characters which keep you reading.
