Summary: AWESOME BOOK, AWESOME SERIES, AWESOME AUTHOR!
Review: THIS BOOK RULES! THERE'S NOTHING LIKE IT, OR THIS SERIES. I'VE READ IT A MILLION TIMES-EACH TIME I LOVE IT EVEN MORE. THE WHOLE PLOT OF THE STORY IS DETAILED, SUSPENSEFUL, HORRIFIC, MAGNETIC, ENTRANCING, AND BEAUTIFUL. If you adore vampire books, this one will definitely pull you in! Elena, Stefan, Damon, Bonnie, and Meredith make great characters, and an awesome team. Elena is the beautiful popular girl who falls in love with Stefan. Soon she meets Damon, Stefan's fascinatingly dark, mysterious, enemy brother, and falls in love with them both for their great differences. This trio reunites when Elena's spirit rises from the dead in this powerful story to warn her friends and defeat a dark evil that comes into town. This story is powerfully enigmatic, and it will make you shake with fear, convulse in horror, laugh with joy, and bawl your tears out. If I can't say anymore, it's because this book, this series, was so awesome that it's inexplainable- more than words can describe. It is truly worthwhile to read, and if you can't read this book, any of L.J. Smith's books are equally great, though I personally ,for one, love the Vampire Diary series the best.

Summary: A ghost coming back for her love- a vampire
Review: i've read all of the books of Vampire Diaries, but i personallydidn't find this as good. the plot was cool and i liked the fact thatelena came back for stefan, but it was kind of too far-fetched... ljsmith could do a lot better... still it was an exciting and good book! i'm looking forward to more of her work! :P

Summary: Whoa!
Review: This book and the whole series is amazing! They were totally cool and wonderful. I thought that book three was the last, so when I found out that there was a book four, I was a little reluctant to read it, because I was content with the ending to book three, but I'm so happy I read book four because it was well worth it!

Summary: I great book(s)
Review: I have read all of the Vampire Diaries series, and I think that they were all very well written. But I have to admit that book by book, the story got a little more and more unrealistic. The author L. J. Smith was very passionate about how she described each of the characters. For example, Stefan had eyes as green as oak leaves. (I think that's what she said). He had dark wavy hair, and pale skin. Damon had eyes that were as dark as the night sky. He had dark straight hair, and pale skin as well. He had soft boots, black jeans, and a thick black shirt that was fairly tight on him. I think that Dark Reunion was a good ending to Vampire Diaries. I highly recomend all the books of Vampire Diaries. It was very romantic the way L. J. Smith describe certain scenes. I hope poeple would enjoy it as much as I did!

Summary: JUST PLAIN AWESOME
Review: OMG! I think this book was the best of all the Vampire Diaries. After i read the last one I kinda figured it would be the last. When Volume 4 came out, I was estatic. I read and re-read the book over and over again. I think L.J. Smith is better than any othe young adult writer. By the way im almost 20 and i will continue reading her books until im 30! LJ SMITH RULES

Summary: Book Four Of An Unforgettable Series!
Review: I LOVED the Vampire Diaries. The characters were magical and full of life, the plot twisted you up inside - yearning for elena and stefan, eager to know all about damon, hating the evils and triumphantly cheering on the good (and i would have mentioned something about Bonnie - my favorite - but i thought i should just point out the areas that left most people spellbound). I would recommend this book to anyone with a love of the supernatural, with a love of unique romance, or with a love of the never-ending battles between light and dark. So why four stars? To tell you the absolute truth, although i love this book with every corner of my heart, the ending was a little unrealistic. it appeared to me that the author could not think of any possible way for stefan and his troop of merry - human - men to defeat Klaus and all of his badness. so the ghosts of the civil war were used to remedy this weakness as a last resort. the only thing that could have been done to make this tie in smoothly was if lisa jane smith would have talked about the history and the past events in the war that took place over the ground of their town throughout the novel. BUT I STILL LOVE THIS BOOK - OK? READ IT!

Summary: Can we say more?
Review: I loved the book, and the series too. What I would like to say is that I wish that it had ended a little more resolved- but you will find that out when you read it. I wish that Damon and Bonnie had hooked up- kinda like the odd couple... Well, if you like what I am talking about, or feel differently, get ahold of me. If you haven't read the book yet, read it.

Summary: Great LJ SMITH Book!
Review: This book was really good I loved all of the Vampire Diaries but I don't really get the ending...alothough I usually like the bad guys (Gabriel in Dark Visions, Julian) in the Vampire Diaries I prefered Stefan to Damon. Damon isn't in the books enough for us to really know him...but still the books were great and all the characters were really cool. The Forbidden Game is still my favorite trilogy but the Vampire Diaries were Great too, they might ever better that Dark Visions! Anway have to go!

Summary: The most wonderful book I have ever read
Review: This was the first trilogy I read from L.J Smith and thats when I felt in love with her books. I also felt in love with Damon. Of all her other bad boys Like Gabriel in Dark visions or Julian in The Forbidden Game, Damon is my favorite. I know he was supposed to be this bitter, dark and dangerous creature but I found him fascinating. He really wasn't evil sure he was a bad boy but he wasn't evil and deep in his heart he love his brother and he did love Elena. I love this book so much. This was also the only book that made conflict over which guy the girl should stay with. I really like Stefan too and I loved Damon and they both love her and they were both so right for her. She also love both men. Althought toward the end I think she made the right decision to stay with Stefan but Damon is someone I will never forget even if he is not real. I do wish he was.

Summary: I laughed, I cried, I loved it!
Review: This is an awesome book, I believe the ending was right and beautiful. Although I must admit I liked L.J. Smith's version of the vampire better in the Night World series, it was just as good here, especially considering it couldn't have worked without all those little things. I always believed Elena should end up with Stefan. She showed us inside his head, and we saw how much he love Elena. But Damon, nobody knows what he was thinking, excpet the author. I think he loved Elena, but he was too far into the dark. It was beautifully written and I loved it. I read the ending about five times, just to make sure.
