Rating: Summary: I love this book! Review: The now dead Elena, trys to help her friends battle a deadly foe from the spirit world. This is the concluding book in the Vampire diaries, and I wish that there were more. I love the dark Damon. And feel sooo sad when Elena chooses Stefen over him. :(!! Why shoud Stefen get to be happy and not him?!! Another thing is, why does Elena not like being a Vampire?
Rating: Summary: The Bad Reunion Review: I love L.J. smith books but this book was the worst in the series. It really didnt fit in well w/the rest of the books. The ending is okay and suprising and thats the only good thing about this book. The whole Vampire Diarys Series is great. But out of all of the four books i liked this the least it Damon and stephen are hott as ever and theres alot of suspense so its an okay book if u like or have read any l.j. smith book i think u would or might like this one
Rating: Summary: Awesome Series....One of the Best! Review: This series is one of the best series of books I've ever read. And I am not exagurating. I honestly could not put these down. It took me 4 days to read the whole series. A book a day.I found that it was so easily to fall in love with the characters. I love Stefan, Elena, Bonnie, and even Damon. L.J. Smith is a truly gifted author who keeps you on your toes. Everytime I tried to guess what was gonna happen next, I found myself surprised. I recommend this series for everyone. If you love reading get these books. If you like these you will love "The Last Vampire" Series by Christopher Pike. Which I also Recommend!!! seeya
Rating: Summary: What happens to Damon? Review: I love this series of books. They are my favorite. I first read them in sixth grade and recently read them again in college. One thing I don't understand is the ending. I really think it is open for a fifth book which would make me so happy. I always wanted to know what happened to Damon. I loved his character and I think he deserves a happy ending. Is anyone else with me on this? I think a book following Elena and Stefan and what they've done together would be great- and just my personal idea- but wouldn't it be great if Damon got together with Elena's sister years later- like they all save her from another evil while she is in high school (Like the Smallwoods) and he falls in love with her and makes her a vampire and the couples stay together. I don't know, just an idea.
Rating: Summary: Should've left well enough alone Review: The previous three books were wonderful. I think I read all three of them in a single day. Then there was this one... Granted, if the author had left this book off, and stayed with the origional trilogy, the story would've ended on a bittersweet note. Two feuding brothers reuinited by the sacrifice of their love. Dark Reunion delves into areas not previously explored by the other three books. It takes the series to a totally different frame, dives over a cliff, and lads WAY out in left field. Reading this book after reading the other three is sort of like getting really close to a lovely bed of roses to sniff the perfume, and suddenly coming across a pile of somthing foul.
Rating: Summary: The final book Review: This is the last book in the "Vampire Diaries Series" It wasnt my favorite book, but it was still good. This book is different from the others because it takes place 6 months after Elena died, and it's told from Bonnies piont of view. In this book Elena calls out from the dead trying to warn her friends about sumthing. What that is, Im not telling you. So, Bonnie does a summoning to bring Stefan back to Chruch Fells. But she gets more than she bargined for because without even realizing it, she summoned Damon back to. To find out what happenes, read the book.
Rating: Summary: Okay last book Review: There is a new threat in Fells Church. Bonnie, Stephan, Damon, Merideth, and Matt are once again there to experiance it. Bonnie begins to have dreams...of Elena. Elena wanrs her of a new threat to the small town. She tells Bonnie to summon Stephan with a spell and seek his help. After losing Elena, life has been hard for Stephan. At her wishes, he sticks by his brother Damon. When he is summond by Bonnie to go to Fells Church, he has to go. Bonnie, Stephan, Damon, Merideth, and Matt, through the guidence of the deceased Elena, go through another adventure with plot twists and a surprise at who the dark force is. Will they all make it? Okay, this book was...okay. Pretty good ending. But was i the only one UPSET that Bonnie and Damon didn't hook up in the end????
Rating: Summary: Overwhelmed by the Beauty Review: I know a book is good when I react emotionally to it. The Vampire Diaries series made me CRY...hard. Just reading the synopsis for each book brings tears to my eyes. I've read them several times since they came out! As an author myself, I know how important it is to capture the reader. L.J. Smith does more than capture the reader...she holds them hostage & doesn't let go!
Rating: Summary: Rubbish Review: This was beyond disappointing. I'm glad I borrowed the book rather than buying it, as it really was bad. And I mean really bad. Miss Smith couldn't have left it at the perfect ending of Book 3, which left me coming away feeling like 'this is a great series, buy it', but instead ruined the first 3 books for me. The first 3 books are great BUY THEM, but the fourth is utter rubbish. I have only one thing to say about it; DON'T READ IT. And I mean that. I don't normally say bad things about books (I love reading) but this really was the pits. Trust me.
Rating: Summary: Really great! ......up to the end. Review: I loved how the story was told through Bonnie's eyes, you get to know her character much better. There were lots of intriguing little plot twists that made perfect sense. But I thought the ending of this book didn't explain itself very well and was extremely dissatisfying. The story built up, becoming more and more interesting, and the ending seemed thrown together just to get it over with. In other words, I turned the page and went "What! That's it! " Compared to the first three in the series, this was a let down.
