Rating: Summary: Finally! Micheal realizes what Maria means to him! Review: Book #9 has to have been one of my favs from this series since #3 the Seeker! As a die-hard Micheal and Maria fan, it was nice to see Micheal wanting to be w/Maria in #9, and then what Isabel says to him about Maria! Oh yeah!
Rating: Summary: All In All, A great book Review: Definitely suspenseful, a very good book! It delves into Michaels' character and relationship with Maria a lot-- Cameron's finally out of the picture! Michael has a lot to deal with in this book, and many times he channels out all his problems thinking about Maria. Max and Liz lovers beware! This book enters the level of unMax-Liznees that makes you want to be sick for a while. It sets up a scene for some real M/L action in book # ten, and you don't get ANY M/L action in this one, really. Has a lot of surprises with Trevor, Dupris, Kyle and Adam-- two people die before the end of the book, and one is sent away to a mental institution. Really a cliffhanger ending-- and not a good one for you Max Evans fans!
Rating: Summary: Great! Review: I dont want to give too much away, but i just love how just when Alex is finally over Isabel, he's the only one that can save her after she runs away. I thought it was a great plot twist. I liked the book and i'm sure others will too.
Rating: Summary: Roswell High: The Dark One Review: I feel that this is a well written book. .Melinda Metz Has created a materpiece of a story, that IT takes relity and fiction and makes it in to a cliff hanging story of five teenage Kids It takes place in the small town of Roswell, Famous for alien sightings around the Area. Are the Alien sightings real? Ask 16 year old Max Evans, Because he's anything but Normal, try out of the ordinary. Him, his sister Isabelle, and his best friend Micheal are aliens. The day Liz was shot, And Max healed Liz, she found out his secret. Now Liz and Maria are the only ones who know the Alien's secret, And Knowing their secret brings them a life of danger, friendship, Love and hope.
Rating: Summary: I Can't Believe it.. Review: I loved this book up until the end. All I can say prepare yourself for a surprise ending that you may or may not like. Personally, I was saddened. This is why the book only gets 4 stars instead of 5. Anyway, the book focuses on the "akino" and Isabel is now going through hers. Only she refuses to connect to the consciousness because of what it has done to Max. So her and Micheal run away for her to tough it out without the stones. They enlist Trevor in the cause and he ultimately shows them how to survive the akino without making the connection. All in all a good book.. with the exception of the big surprise in the end.
Rating: Summary: A Great Way to continue the story Review: I managed to read this book before it came out b/c my mom works at the publishing company, and i have to say it really works well with keeping up the story. I f you're a Roswell fan, you'll love this addition!
Rating: Summary: Roswell High, #9 Review: I really enjoy Roswell High. I've seen every television episode and read every book up to Roswell High, #9. But I believe #9 lacked the substance that Roswell High #1-#8 contain. In my opinion, the plot has been losing charm and character since #6. DuPris has become as predictable as a Scooby-Doo cartoon. So much so that in his last few appearances, DuPris may as well have said, "...And I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for you pesky kids!" The collective consciousness put a tremendous drag on the plot as well. Max is the meat and potatos of Roswell High. Reading about Max looking like a zombie while connected to the collective consciousness has been as entertaining as watching an I Love Lucy show, without Lucy; boring. One thing that has not changed since book #1 is Michael. He is witty and bold and sincere as usual in Roswell High, #9. And although Michael is my favorite character, he is more like Robin to Batman, for example. Robin and Batman, the series only sinks unless the names are reversed to Batman and Robin. On that note, I really hope #10 will be a good read. After reading #9 I lost interest in reading #10. I've decided to read the earlier Roswell High boks again to rebuild my excitemnt about reading #10. Hopefully #10 will be as hard-hitting, edgy, and fresh as Roswell High #1-#5. I'll be really disappointed if "The Salvation" involves a cameo by Scooby-Doo.
Rating: Summary: roswell high 9 Review: I think this book was good but some of the others were more interesting but near the end it was great and a wonderful cliff hanger now I cant wait for the other one
