Rating: Summary: Come. On... Review: Come the stars above on. This nonesense with Conner & Liz has dragged on for TWELVE books! I think Liz ought to be single for a while. Get a new plot for her, one that DOESN'T involve a guy for a change! Also unrealistic is that all year, she's let her grades slide & has been going out on school nights, then when her guidance counselor calls her to the office to discuss her grades & contacts her parents, her mom nearly has a fit. Then she forgets an appointment with her counselor & her parents get hysterical & ground her. And of course by that time, Liz is feeling rebellious & sneaks Megan into the house. Naturally her parents catch her & yell at her. Then a ludicrous & rather funny part is that she sneaks out of the house & goes to a party & gets drunk...then, of course Conner shows up to the rescue! Conner's getting rather annoying & his lame, cynical "tough guy" attitude is so old. Francine needs to put a close to this drawn-out plot.
Rating: Summary: Great! Review: I loved Bad Girl! For a SVH fan like me that has dying for Liz and Conner to get together again, this book is great. It makes me think that Liz and Conner will start going out. I won't tell the ending, but I have to say- I'm Sooooo Happy! It's so great, I must have read this book about a billion times just this week!
Rating: Summary: definatly the best sofar! Review: I think that this one is the best sofar! the end kinda leaves you hanging...i just loved it! it makes you want to keep reading more. Personally, my favorite of the story lines is the whole Liz-Connor thing, and it really heats up in this book!
Rating: Summary: Bad girl Review: I think this book was great since Liz and conner are my favourite characters. The last 4 or so books have been completely focused on Jessica which is totally annoying. Francine Pascal should do what she used to in the beginning of the series by talking about all the characters and giving each of their storyline about the same length. Anyways this book was more focused on Elizabeth and Connor but I think it was a pretty good book overall.
Rating: Summary: WOW! Review: I thought that this book really lived up to Francine Pascal's level. It was really good. I thought that the whole Jessica and Will thing was awsome. It totally pulled me in, and I promise that you will love this book if you like good books.
Rating: Summary: The Best Review: I thought that this was one of the best books out of this series. I loved the whole Maria and Ken storyline. Also I think that it's about time that the author started portraying Elizabeth as a more normal teenager, instead of having her always being perfect and never doing a thing wrong, which was very boring, at least Elizabeth seems more like a real teenager now, instead of an adult. I wish that there was a little bit more focus on Jessica and Will though, instead of just having Jessica commenting on how cute Will is in every chapter. Also the whole Liz obession with Conner, kind of brought the book down a little, and I hope that in future books that Liz won't obsess so much on him.
Rating: Summary: Bad Girl Review: I thought this book was sooooo good! I started reading the series when it first came out and I am hooked! I love the characters and the plot lines and they seem so believable. The plot line I like best is Conner and Elizabeth which was one of the main reasons I liked this one. I am so glad the way the story turns out and I think it's about time Elizabeth cut loose a little especially since her parents have gone totally crazy and think that just because her grades dropped a little tiny bit that her life is over. 2 thumbs up and 10 stars!
Rating: Summary: Dull and heavily Melodramatic Review: I've read many of the Sweet Valley Twins, Sweet Valley High, Sweet Valley University, and the Senior Year books. These are getting really over-bearing and pretentious. Elizabeth is finally going through her teenage rebellion/angst years but unfortunately, her life is so perfect there's little for her to rebel about. She's in her new house with her happy family. The only angst she could have is in her head and her hormones (ie Connor). She's obsessed with Connor and his family situation. There's a rather thick line between being an obnoxious, unwanted intrusion and a friend. She seems to cross that line, but of course Connor falls for her anyway. It's nice to see Jessica get some peace and joy for a change, but one wonders what is going on with Lila. She's never been kind but she makes Melissa out to be some sort of martyr. As for Melissa, it's obvious she's not getting the psychiatric help she needs. I think the author has not done Melissa's suicide attempt justice by following up on the after effects. There's more to high school than trying to get, keep, or steal a boyfriend. Too bad you never know what more there is to life if you read this book.
Rating: Summary: Book #12 in SVH Senior Year Series Review: If you hadn't noticed already (speaking to SVH Senior Year fans), Elizabeth Wakefield has been extremely distracted over Conner McDermott lately. (Ha! Who hasn't noticed? :) All of her daydreaming is commented on by some of her teachers and her parents in "Bad Girl", due to her missing Oracle meetings and her dropping grades. For most teenagers, bad grades and skipping classes are typical, but Liz isn't like her irresponsible peers, so her erratic behavior is noticed a lot more than if, say, her twin sister Jessica were doing it. Anyway, to make a long story short, Liz gets in trouble with her parents because of this and is grounded. But will she abide by their rules--or continue being her un-Liz-like self by rebelling at the end of "Bad Girl"? (It's surprising the book ends the way it does in regard to Conner and Liz, meaning Liz was starting to turn into Conner's mom, which I thought would have repulsed him rather than turning him on. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens between these two in the next book, "All About Love".) And speaking of Conner, he and Gary (his ex-stepfather) are obviously still going at it. And, to no surprise, Gary breaks Megan's heart by announcing that he has a fiancee (a much younger woman) and wants to move her in to the house (which, if Gary hadn't noticed, isn't even his house; he's just "baby-sitting" Conner and Megan while their mother is in rehab). Megan, of course, is devastated by this announcement, because she thought her father and mother would eventually get back together. Clearly, they won't be any time soon, so Meg runs away, unable to cope with her unstable family life. On a slightly lighter note, Ken Matthews is trying to switch his "good buddy" relationship with Maria Slater into something more romantic by inviting her out on covert dates. Maria, however, doesn't realize that's what he's doing until the last half of "Bad Girl", where their friendship appears to be on the rocks. You'll just have to read this book to see what eventually happens. All I'll give you in a way of a clue is a quote from Liz's diary: "Finally! Finally, finally, finally! Finally!"
Rating: Summary: Bad Girl Review: If you like Liz you'll love this book. In this book Liz is have some strange(for her)family problems. Conner has his own family problems.Tia is moping about Angel being at school.Maira thinks she and Ken are just friends but Ken is thinking different. At the end of the book they fix that. Conner and Liz also fix some things between them.
