Summary: You become the lead character!!
Review: Although I got many weird looks while reading this book, the story itself is amazing. After I finished it, my friends in my dorm read it. It makes you think about what you would do!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Loved it, loved it, loved it!
Review: Even though i have no intentions on having a baby this book really shows how hard it is to have a baby and the changes and desisions you have to make when you are pregnant and even before pregnancy. the only bad part of the story is that there is no real ending and we dont' realy now how it finishes!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great book, but it left me hanging.
Review: I actually give this book a 3 1/2. I really liked it, and it was very descriptive and interesting, but the problem with it was that the ending what kind of left me hanging at the end! I don't want to give anything away, but when it ends, she hasn't even had her baby yet! It is a really good book otherwise and it is easy to read because each entry is no more than 2 pages, so you don't have to be afraid to start a chapter and not be able to finish it. It was pretty good, except for the ending.

Summary: I think this book was excellent.
Review: I can relate to many of the things that Valerie goes through. I would like to have read a sequel to this book, because I'd like to know how Valerie lives with knowing what she did. Once I picked this book up I could not put it down. My best friend saw me reading this book and she borrowed it from the library as soon as I finished reading and she, too, could not put it down. I would recommend this book to any young teenager because the story revolves around a young teenager. I think this book is the best book I have read in a long time.

Summary: What kind of Love?
Review: I did not have to read this book for it to capture my interest.
I am a young teenager and once I saw this book I knew I'd love it. These are the types of book that capture many young teenagers minds. We are very curious to know what happens in situations like these. I enjoyed this book very much because it shows us what the consequences are in this certain situation, although this is what happens to a percentage of young mothers their are other outcomes I would recommend this book not only to teenagers but to parents as well, if anything like this happens to there children they'll know how to deal with it.

Summary: Couldn't stay away!
Review: I read this book about a year ago and the thing about it is that you simply hate to put it down! I mean, it's so real...all the thoughts and actions of this girl (i 4got her name!) are like you're right there with her! I absolutely loved it. If anyone is considering becoming pregnant as a teen then they should really read this book...I highly reccommend it!

Summary: Almost a great book
Review: I think Cole did a good job of role playing into her character but, the story could have been sooo much more and soo better if a little more effort was applied. I personaly really liked it and will recomend it because the voice of Valerie is so real and the pain is real too. I just really wish that cole would have expanded more and made a more bookish novel then leaving it at a diary I think it would have had much more of an impact and meaning. I especially liked the fact that the story took place in my hometown. I really also wish that there were more books out there addressing this subject.

Summary: The best book I've ever read on a pregnant teenager.
Review: I think this book was very good. It is the kind of book that you could read all day non stop. It was in the form of a diary; she told you what she did day by day and it seems each day she was faced with different problems so it leaves you wondering what's going to happen next. It's very realistic and I can relate to some of the things that she was facing. It a good look at someone trying to make hard decisions.

Summary: What Kind of Love?
Review: I thought this book got a big thumbs up, I was with Val all the way! I thought it was an easy reader, and Ms. Cole really portrayed the characters well. Sometimes, I got kind of Emotional. I never knew getting pregnant could be such a life shaking drama. I recomend this to any girl between 14 and 17. Just reading it could change your life, it was an inspiration to me!

Summary: wonderful
Review: I was just roaming around looking for a good book to read when i fell across this one. The cover really got me interested, so i checked it out. Then i picked this for a report due in one of my classes. From the book, it made me feel like i was actually Valerie, living in her life and the different events she had to go through. But i thought it could have ended a lot of better. I mean she didn't even have the baby, and all she did was start to play the violin again. How boring... it should have ended with a big event even though thats suposed to be in the middle. And the biggest event that really happened was when Peter left her to go to college. And you know that if you were Peter you would have visited her, called her, sent her more letters, i mean for god sake, she's pregnant with his child! There was alot of things that seemed so unrealistic. But in spite of all the things that could have been done to make the book better i think it still was good, it made me think. Think about the exact sitation that could very well happen to me. I am 17, i have had sex, and after reading this book and hearing ohter stories about pregnant teenagers, it made me realise. At one point... theres no point in doing it at all. But once you've done it, you know you're going to do it again, and i talk from experience, and we're just soon to be adults trying to fit in, but still thats no excuse. Some teens just have sex because they hear about their friends doing it, or their so lonely and desperate for love they go to all the wrong places. For some advice wait until you're in love, then theirs meaning behind it all. And to parents, just because you hear of your kids having sex or are invovled with someone doesn't mean you have to punish them for trying new things, because sometimes your kids are well prepared enugh to stand up and face peir pressure, ecspecially when its a friend. But anyways, I'm getting off the main point - The book, Its well put together and interesting, and makes you think about what could really happen to a girl so innocent.
