Rating: Summary: One of the best books I ever read Review: Alice goes off to camp whereshe imagines all the girls in her cabin to "feel like a happy family." WRONG ALICE Some of the girls are scared of water, Eliabeth fights the decision to have sex and much, much more.
Rating: Summary: Okay....not the best Review: I am a HUGE fan of the Alice books, but I guess I was a little disappointed with this one. It seemed like the author was just randomly throwing in problems to make the book interesting...but the problems were all fixed by the end of the book. It really bugged me how the wedding was postponed (problem #500) and all of a sudden it was like, "Oh, okay, we'll just hold the wedding in October...problem solved :)." I was hoping that some of the problems would continue into the next book so that everyone would just be hanging until the book was in stores. All in all, this Alice book was good, but not up to the usual standards. Wait 'till it comes out in paperback.
Rating: Summary: Great Book Review: I have been a faithful reader in the "Alice" series and when I read this book, I was definitly not disappointed. I have read every single Alice book and I still find it interesting. This book was escpecially good to me because it involved tons of new guys for the girls to fight over and have fun with. I also liked that the girls were in a different environment than what they usually were in, that being a coed camp. This book was touching and fun. I even laughed out loud, which I hardly ever do in books.
Rating: Summary: Best one yet Review: i have read all the alice books so far and Patiently Alice is the best one yet. I found it touching and it felt like I knew everything about Alice. I was long anticipating another Alice book and I'm so excited that this was it. I savored every word of this book. Thanks
Rating: Summary: Patiently Alice Review: I like this book. It show about life and boyfriend problem. It really express the reader that life as Alice is difficult that no one is perfect. That why i like "Patiently Alice By Phyllis Reynold Naylor".
Rating: Summary: Another great addition to the series! Review: I've been a fan of the Alice series for over three years, now, and every year I anxiously await the next release. I was not disappointed with Patiently Alice this spring - far from it! Covering the summer between 15-year-old Alice McKinley's 9th and 10th grade years, this should be popular with fans and newcomers to the series alike. Alice's mother died when she was very young, so she's excited that her dad is finally marrying her English teacher from 7th grade. Alice and three of her friends, Elizabeth, Pamela, and Gwen, decide to be assistant counselers at a summer camp for three weeks, however, soon before the wedding. Alice and her friends have a lot of fun, trials, and tribulations at camp, but when Alice returns home, so many things have changed. The wedding is postponed, her 22-year-old brother Lester is considering moving, a friend is having family problems, and she even hears from her ex-boyfriend, Patrick. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes very realistic, humorous reads about life for a teenage girl who is not-so-perfect but somehow relates to all of us. Be sure to read the othes in the series, and if you still want more, try The Princess Diaries series by Meg Cabot or the Angus, Thongs, and Full Frontal Snogging series by Louise Rennison. Enjoy!
Rating: Summary: Best one yet Review: Remember when I said in my other reviews of the Alice books that each installment will make the reader blush a little harder, starting out with pink and going to fire engine red? WELL, IN THIS ONE YOU WILL BLUSH PURPLE!! Without a doubt one of the best Alice books! I considered fainting when Elizabeth bought some...ahem...THINGS, lets leave it at that and really did nearly faint when Elizabeth relived her...ahem...RONDEVOUS WITH ROSS!!! I found this wonderful! Read it and reread it along with the others until the next one comes out and then do it all over again! Blessed Be!!

Rating: Summary: So good Review: This has got to be the best book I ever read (and I have read a lot) Ben and sylvia's marrige is postponed Elizabeth the saint toys with the decision whether or not to have sex, and the girls in her cabin at the end are still far from being one big happy family as Alice hope's. when she comes home Patrick of all people calls on Alice for help! Luckily some things do go right. Alice gets some sights indeed from the male counselers at camp. I would like to write all but their is just so much more.
Rating: Summary: Another Beloved Book Review: This is a continuation of the character Alice from the author Phyllis Naylor. In this book Alice is about to go off to Camp Overlook to be a counselor. She has just finished her freshman year of high school. The book chronicles her time at the camp
with her friends Gwenn, Elizabeth and Pamela and the little girls who they are responsible for. Alice has to deal with her brother Lester moving out and her father's fiancee Sylvia cancel their wedding because her sister got sick. In this book you really feel like not only do you know Alice in person but you can feel when she is disappointed or hurt. A great read an another hit for the Alice series.
