Review: Though it's categorized as a children's book, Blind Beauty, like all of K.M. Peyton's novels, is written well enough to satisfy adult readers. Her knowledge of horses is broad, and this book doesn't suffer from the typical horsey errors.Typically, I like Peyton's work because the characters have more ordinary aspirations, rather unlike this one where a no-hope horse and girl make it to the biggest race in their sport. However, Blind Beauty is a pleasant enough read that the plot is forgivable, and even believable, as you immerse yourself in the story. I devoured it, and I was glad to add it to my collection of horsey literature.
