Summary: A great book for everyone.
Review: I really liked this book because it kept me in suspence and something was always happining to Bobby, the main character. You never knew what it was going to happen but something always did. My favorite character was Bobby because no matter what happened to him he never gave up. I would recommend this book for someone who likes suspence and action because this book is full of both.

Review: I am a student at a Middle School and This book was really good. It boosts your self-confidence if you are down in the dumps. This helps you understand how a Fat teenager's summer can be: Exciting, unpredictable, surprising, depressing, uplifting and helpful.

Summary: One Fat Summer is entertaining and thought-provoking.
Review: I read One Fat Summer many years ago and still rate it among my favorite books. It is an entertaining and thought-provoking tale that takes a good look at aspects of the lives of both popular adolescents and not-so-popular adolescents. It communicates many important thoughts about the importance of persistence and self-confidence. The main character, a young, overweight adolescent survives a traumatic summer full of physical challenge. Along the way, he sees his relationship with his best friend change after something happens to her, changes his opinion of an older teenager he idolizes, and realizes that being grown up means something different from what he thought it meant. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I don't see how anyone who is mentally stable and mature could object to this book. I would have to hear their entire objection -- complete with quotations from the text -- before I would even consider telling someone not to read this book. It is a great book. By all means, read it!

Summary: Why I'm Going to Read "One Fat Summer"
Review: I'm a resident in the Levittown School District, Long Island, New York. This book has been on the school's reading list, up till now. Apparently one
parent in the district is unhappy with the book and asked the Superintendent of schools,
Dr. Herman Sirois to remove it from the list. He broke under the pressure of this one women
and immediately removed "One Fat Summer" from the
list. My curiousity is peaked. Now I am going to read this book to see what the big fuss is. I can't get a copy in my area because everyone else must have gotten the same idea. Students and parents tell me that the book is really good.
I'm working on finding a copy of this book so I can read it and write a review. Will I agree with this one parent - that this book isn't fit for our school's reading list? Or, will I agree with those who put "One Fat Summer" on the reading
list? The fact of the matter is that one person's taste in books shouldn't determine what the majority of
us read. Great, Good , or Fair the book "One Fat Summer" will be back on the reading list in
September.

Review: In the book one fat summer bobby marks is fat.I gave it 3 stars because i did not like the whole stoy but i like certain parts of the book.The part i like is when bobby stand up to willie becuase he wants to kill him. I did not like pete marino because he is like perfect because he is a diver. He thiks he is the best person in the world.But if you want to know if willie rumson kills bobby marks you will have to read the story.Over all i like the boob one fat summer so i think you should read it.

Summary: One Fat Summer, Good or Not?
Review: In this book, i find it amazing on how the main chararter Bobby Marks makes it through his life. He goes through real life punishments as a teenager such as getting picked on and beaten up. He is an amazing child and is a great model for teenagers to read. it will teach them what happens to poeple who go to far when bullying. He makes it through these tough times with his friends and family as do all teens. I gave this a 5 star becuse its a great book and i feel like reading it again and again. also it would help children and teens who hear or read this book what is right and what is wrong.
