Summary: Enchanting Tragedy
Review: This is an interesting story that features a young girl who is at first very depressing, but then gradually becomes less withdrawn. I kept wanting her to wake up and realize that people were willing to help her. For example, early in the book when she is given a gift, she tosses it on the floor, which was a bit too ungrateful for me. Although the long descriptions of her imaginary friends became a bit tiresome, and the Prologue left me more confused than engrossed, overall this is a great childrens' story (readers in age group 12+), with well developed characters and excelent descriptions.

As a reader who enjoys a well told story, regardless of the genre and age group, I found this story both intriguing and expertly crafted. Wild Bill recommends this book for adults and children, although the story content and character motivation would probably appeal to young women more than the guys.

Summary: Behind the attic walls
Review: This is one of my all-time favorite books. I first read this book when I was in the 2nd grade. For my age, it was just the right kind of book: a story about friendship but with just enough suspense to keep me interested. I am now in the 10th grade and I recently reread the book. For a while, when I was younger, I would sit by my dolls and wonder if they could really talk. That is how captivated I was. I would definetly recommend this book to any child seeking a thrilling novel that isn't too scary or time-consuming to read. I believe it has the right themes and morals built in for any aged reader. This book is a good example of a unique one-of-a-kind read. Ever since I last read this, I realized that everything you write doesn't have to be within just one genre and that suspenseful novels can be about little girls playing with dolls.

Summary: Perfect.
Review: This is possibly one of the best-written, most-descriptive books I've ever read. Everything was placed in your head and stayed there--the setting, the characters, the story. I loved the mix of suspense, humor, and sadness all throughout the book. A phenominal ending. Beautiful!

Summary: The absolute best book ever!!!!!
Review: This is possibly the best book ever written in the history of the world. Sylvia Cassedy has done an outstanding job on this book. I have read it many times and it is so good. After you read it you get this tingly feeling all over. And even if you read the last page to see what happens, it only makes sense once you read it all. I can't get over how wonderful this book is and if you read it I am sure it will be one of your favorites too. I have bought copies for my friends, family, and teachers. I give this 10 stars but they'd only let me put 5. Her other book Lucy Babbige's House is very good also. I highly reccommend them!!!!!

Summary: A childhood favorite I've treasured for years.
Review: When I was in third grade, there was a restriction on the books I was allowed to check out from my school library because of my age. Since I wasn't interested in the books meant for my age group, my older sister would check out books for me. One day she brought me Behind the Attic Wall. From the very first page, it became my all-time favorite book. It's a magnificently imaginative story, full of drama, mystery, humor, and love. I don't know how many times I made my sister check it out for me until I was old enough to check it out on my own.
